Can't access my acc and WP websites

Hi there!

 

I'm new here, I'm from Brazil and my account was created and I started to play 3 or 4 days ago. I was playing and accessing the WP websites normally, but then yesterday started to fail my login and I can't access none of the WP domains.

 

As you can see in the spoiler box, the patch searches for update but doesn't load the news.

I'm able to put my login and pw, but then cames the message "Can't connect on the server. Please try again later." and the game shuts down.

 

Things I've tried that didn't work:

- Reset modem

- Restart my pc

- Reinstall RO2
- Access WP websites from my smartphone, using wifi and 4g

 

The last thing I tried was to use an app that changes my IP address and it works! Now I can play RO2 and acess this forum and all the WP websites, but I don't want to depend on this app. I don't even know if it's permitted but was the only way to serch for help here.

Can anyone help me, please?  :sob:  It's IP block? Can I fix it somehow?

alguns jogadores estão com o mesmo problema, porém nenhuma informação foi divulgada pela administração do jogo ainda, esperamos que esse problema seja corrigido em breve.

Hello Devihart, 

I am sorry you encountered this problem.

As YukiraWT mentioned many other players have the same problem and I am quite sure this problem is to be addressed to your ISP (Movistar).

My suggestion is setting up Google DNS or you might want to try using Pingzapper. 

They should help you to log in and play regularly.

It's nice to know that it's not a problem only with me! :ani_swt3: I was worried that was an IP block, I really want to play this game!

This is a problem that has come up with South American ISPs Vivo and MoviStar. The Warpportal IT team was notified of this issue yesterday after many RO1 users brought the problem to our attention. Presumably the IT team has brought the problem to Warpportal's ISP but there has been no public reply from the WP ISP yet about the issue.

Users in Brazil have mentioned contacting Vivo Support and being told that their end is clear and the problem is on the other side of the connection, somewhere down the pipes with a North American ISP. This has been effecting other South American Gamers playing different games, non WP game, as well.

Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

what happened with this issue? today i started with the same problems, im from chile, my ISP is VTR

 

Edit: i can get in the game and play normaly but when i change channels or get into a dungeon i get disconected and cant log in in a while

I had same issue two days ago.I couldn't connect to any warpportal websites after my windows10 last update.

I was able to connect normally since monday this week ^^
