should do the opposite of highlight maps :) reduce 500% demi-human damage on woe and pick 1 classes per week/month with damage setting slighty stronger than others lol

i play a game where they have an event where they will kill each other with one hit

 

 

maybe this will stop people complaining how weak/op the class is xD

Doram=brute? lol left woe before doram coming in heh, imo woe would be much interesting and tactical if players could experience the fighting in longer duration.

If normally a "strong 12" vs "weak 12" party took 5-10 sec to finish the other team off, extending it to a minutes or longer would be much fun in terms of "woe/guilds weekly events

The diversity of iRO's playerbase is well known. 

 

So,what if WP decided to move all Chaos server WoE Hours 2 hours later?

 

so, start time from 4:00 PST > 6:00 PST

 

In theory, this would help remove awkward timing for West Coast players with minor issues for East Coast players.

 

Furthermore, Asian players also would be more likely to play WoE.

 

(For example :  China / Thailand players - 6:00 A.M. > 8:00 A.M.)

(Another :   Taiwan / Philippine players - 7:00 A.M. > 9:00 A.M)

 

Incentives aside, wouldn't this change increase WoE participation in general? Any thoughts?

Ill try to compile some ideas i have to try to make woe better/fun.
But i need to ask a question, how much "jurisdiction" WP has to interfere in the woe/pvp system? They can do wtv they want or they need the approval from Gravity?

Gear Restrictions: The purpose of this is to add more competency to the WOE as well as making some of the set Relevant. For instance, Defensive set is not obsolete due to the release of Rosary Armor,PDM,Blacksmith gloves,Dragon claw.
 
For now, I reccomend to disable Rosary armor and dragon claw in the woe Area. these items are defintely overpowered and doesn't take any consequences to the players.
 
Class Modification: We should start modifying the Doram Race into its balance form, possibly, we should follow what the [HulkSmash] are doing, we cannot rely to kRO because we cannot expect better things from them...seriously.
 
Introduction of the Reward System: Guild leaders are the only one who recieves reward,not the guild members. The Reward system will introduce us a sort of "contribution" to the guild members which i will explain later.

So to make the getting an agit relevant, we need to put some sort of ranking to the guilds on how many agits they have, this will promote extreme stragetic thinking on how they will put their guild on the ranking. these ranking can give various amounts of currency that can be use in the guild shop. example.
 
If agit A got 5 agits. each member and the guild master will recieve 500 contribution points or something like that. this contribution points can be spend on buying some equipments, consumables etc etc...
 
I believe that we can trash out hall of the abyss and replace it with this one. We can  put the bellum equipments, woe equipments, woe supplies,bmx etc here at the guild shop, this will be very very easy for the players as well as motivation for them to woe since they can equip themselves.

so yah, its much better if we are start talking it as Thor WOE is now on the verge of death (a lot of people are quitting woe and OCP ruins it)..because once thor woe dies...WOE in iRO is now dead

I've played a very bunch of games in my life (i'm 36 year old), and the pvp only worked well in the games that had it as a complete separate system from pvm.

 

I miss the old days back in 2004-2005 when there wasnt any game changing gear, there wasnt trans class yet, the only one shot skill was GF from monks, and every class could survive at least 6-7s against each other. It was balanced? Hell no, but it was feasible. My guild was very tiny with most lvl 80-90 and we still could break some emps.

 

Well, back to reality, if WP, Gravity or wtv one that can mess with the pvp system, dont remove all the OCP gear from it, it will never be competitive again.

I've have some ideas, like most of us, but what it matters if they dont listen?

Hello!

Currently the studio has told us they are doing something with WoE this year but not shared the details yet. So were kind of in a holding pattern for a WoE rebalance.

In regards to other smaller updates this week we are updating missing malangdo enchants, and we will be opening Sakray up for testing the double attack skill update. Generally speaking there will be a 2-3 week cycle as we burn through each minor update including the skill rebalances, ui updates, and other important changes that don't fall under the umbrella of the larger content updates like 16.2 and whole dungeons. We are finalizing the May calendar to give everyone a greater picture of what is happening this month.
