Don't know, I am having fun. Just enjoy it while it lasts.
Agreed~
Also, if your not having fun in woe, maybe your doing something wrong~

coz GMs doesnt care about WoE.
I bet all the GMs who claim they play iRO as normal users, indeed dont do WoE. That's why they cant realize the true.
Not only that GMs dont care but imagine if WoE gave out good rewards, PvM folks would cry because they would not be able to compete. They would also be forced to buy extremely expensive WoE-rewarded items.
Honestly, I like WoE but if I had to choose which one to save, I would pick PvM. At least PvM is very easy and everyone can do PvM. Als dont get salty for getting one shotted or always lose (RIP those MvPS in CLab and Stefan lol). Players can just make Gen/GX and get GTB Sura to tank, then they would be able to do almost any (or all?) instances in this game to farm expensive items.
I quit WoE and I'm fine with it. If I dont like, I wont play. I think current WoE is too small to enjoy

Im still playing WoE when I can, maybe once or twice every two weeks. Its perfect for experimentation since there are lots of empty castles at a give time. I can indeed be a breaker as a Warlock aspd 193. The good old times when everything was crowded are gone and players are quitting by small numbers but continuous.
The good part is that new guilds are joining and we are recovering a small ammount of new blood in WoE scenarios. But when they face it is a dead end probably will quit too. I like your idea to improve the WoE rewards. But you know WoE has been leave to dead back in 2016 (maybe earlier than that) The staff is focus now in OCP and other stuffs that drag all the money as they can from players.
Words that say woe is dead and nothing can be done at this point are false. Its a game and WoE its a feature. The staff is still able to do something to have this feature enhanced, but they do not pay attention to this.

me and my guild mate have a talk about ROPH, iRO.
ROPH already see their mistakes and started to fix it. honestly, i am quite surprise they did a lot of pvp events especially the AGIT LORD which ended up yesterday (Season 1) (agit lord is all about conquering. it got the term "conquer points(?)" and the only way to earn it is to get a lot of agit. the more the agit, the larger the points. the catch here, if you lost your agit the next woe, it will be a deduction..that's from what i understand). their management improve and their bot management is doing pretty well..too well(some got caged because they are afk wahaha). one member told us "ROPH is copying the same strategy as pRO"
iRO. on the other hand, idk what's really happening. i feel we're just milking wahahahaha.
if we want to fix woe, we need to fix the server first. its not too late for the servers to be save..like ROPH did

Its two years already since I made this thread, and we are on hiatus mode.
Will this hiatus be the time to see a change in this scenario? Fresh toughts? My hopes are on the right direction, Is the staff efforts on the right direction too?

About WoEs, they're my reason to play this game and not new mmorpgs. RO is one of a few games that are made to use teamskill. Devotion, Kaupe/Kaite, ME, skill overlap ( like SG and ME ) are what make RO an epic game even in 2020. Consumable-based game is another godlike point, I can have top gear, but if I don't farm/buy my potions, I'll be useless compared to a normal geared player with good badges.
The problem is that WoEs don't have meaning anymore. I'll always remember on bRO when they made a WoE championshiop. Your guild could make points for number of castles conquered, more points if this castle is the same as you had before the war. Get an eco 50 / 100 gaves a huge burst points too.
After 4 months, the top 5 guilds with most points received an +10~+5 Gigantic Magestic Goat with the guild's name, a lot of KKs, potions, etc. First place received an GR and Deviling card too.
I think this was one of the best things bRO did, the number of full guilds online was comparable to just before cash addition.
And what investment should they made to this championship ? Someone to get/implement the score catch/board, someone to give the rewards to winners after 4 months and someone to make the rules.

I always go back to read December 27th Ragnarok Renewal Maintenance thread whenever I feel like spending money to support iRO, so it can always remind me how hard last loyal WoE folks fought to keep WoE alive but GMs, CMs, MODs, and many PvM folks didnt care. Why would they? WoE was just a tiny aspect of the game.
Though seems like every WoE player left forums, I would stay to witness that we were not crazy to believe ...
RIP ... from the warrior of justice to specter of truth

Well seeing WoE going down hill and didn't see an ounce of recovery. This hiatus will hurt chaos, however most likely see an influx on the new server.
There is one guild that cheats and it's blatantly obvious. Another guild that can compete, but can struggle because of lack of numbers. Then there is guilds that can't compete at all.
faik bRO uses the same anticheat engine as us and that was bypassed.
