IRO1 Renewal Holiday Maintenance

December 19th 10:30-5:00PM PST

 

Attention! Due to the Christmas holiday this week, Ragnarok Online will be performing maintenance on all servers on Tuesday, December 19th.

There will be no maintenance this Thursday for Renewal.

 

This week Gramps Turn In monsters

• Low: Harpy / Neraid
• Mid: Centipede Larva / Succubus
• High: High Blue Lichtern / High Red Lichtern 

Updates

• Boxter will be updated with OCP13
• Quests with a 24 hr universal cool down 'fix' will be reduced to 16 hours.
  • This will also affect gramps turn ins.
• Raffler is ending
• Enriched Hammer is On!

 

Spotlight

• +100% Exp +50% Drops for the rest of December

and also the gift exchange for santa poring hat says 1250, but the NPC actually collects 1500

Technically you are right, but considering the DEF/MDEF piercing effect will not work in WOE, so the accessory is basically disabled there(since these are clearly the main effects and hence reason why ppls use them in the first place). Of course, the other effects are still there, you still get cast delay/time reduction from the gloves, and you still get magic damage increase. But then, you most likely will have better options to use for your accessory slot.

No Ygg, you don't seem to get it. These items according to jRO SHOULD work EVERYWHERE. Normal Monsters, Boss Monsters AND Players. This means PVP/WOE/PVM are all applicable.

Well I just hope they will add safe to 7 certs for shadow gears, since upgrading from +4 to +7 can still break. The quest by itself is alright, even the RNG is acceptable, but knowing you need multiple spare copies of shadow gears to hedge the risk of breaking when upgrading in future, is a huge turn off for me and my friends/guildmates. Its alright even if the safe to 7 certs are expensive, we just need ways to prevent breaking.

Well I sure hope so, a lot of my friends will be doing the new shadow gear quest if there is at least guarantee that their hard earned item will have a safe way making it to +9. There is already one layer of RNG to penalize players, as you cant select which shadow gear you will receive upon finishing the quest.

This Enriched event is rather quiet. I think players already stopped selling KP i.e new players stop spending money to get zeny. People are buying enriched boxes for 180m+ and sellers are trying to sell at 220m+

The Christmas Exchanger is falsely advertising the Costume : Shining Santa Poring headgear is 1250 Santa Claws Tokens. I have a reliable source saying it's 1500 tokens.

i think last year is senior ODA's farewell gift for the players so that santa stays longer. hope Senior ODA will be back so we can have welcome gift again. XD

Quest for Collecting Low,Mid and High energy Crystal at Reno 2nd floor Eden seemed to be the same 24 hours CD, or just me that got that timing wrong?
