are we now able to hit far enemies because of phreeoni wings? 

 

how much is the hit penalty for far targets anyway?

It doesn't work that way.

 

At close range your chance to hit is 100% if RIGHT next to the target. From there on it reduces by 5% or so per cell iirc. It does not take ANYTHING from traditional modifiers, regular or perfect hit.

yup, even with 700 or 89489458495849 hit rate, you will still miss when hitting Lunatic from 10 cells with SS

it would require retarded high amounts of hit rate to hit stuff from far using SS. Im talking about 1200+

Ash, hit and perfect hit DO NOT APPLY to slug shot, it has it's OWN unique hit chance.

so its basically flat 100% at melee range, then -5% each cell further away, regardless of target flee, etc?

Wasn't it like -30 hit per cell outside the sweet spot range(melee)?

There is really only one way to truly find out, but I am 100% sure that it is a X% chance based on distance.
