[Esilience]

So recently I used my skills reset as I was going for the Cleric route but got bored, and changed to the mage route. As a cleric I found it easy to solo monsters like moldie managers and grunter kings and other kings with my phantom swords. However with my mage build, I'm fnding it impossible to stay alive soloing against these monsters, and my mp always runs low after about 6-7 attacks.

I'm level 65 with 126 INT, 75 STR and 60 CON for base stats. My skills are Spirit boost(9), Staff mastery (18), Mana bolt (9), Mana Spear (9), Fire ring (4), Wind storm (4) and Tornado (3).

I'm trying to build a PvE Mage so after I get Tornado to level 4 I'm going to get Meteorite Strike maxed out too.

My problem is that I keep losing health too quickly and my mp diminishes too quickly. How do I combat this? Better equipment/armour? More food?

I'm not sure what to do except keep finding parties with healers in them =/

Any help and tips on my build is appreciated. Thanks.

Your best bet would probably be getting bonfires as a mage build.

Hi Esilience,

mage have low def and hp so its ok if you lose hp fast.

I can recommanded you to use Reinforced gear and maybe put more pts in STR :3

Hi, thanks for your reply. WOuld bonfire really help me if I'm soloing? As I'll be wielding a staff and chasing mobs, won't bonfires be pointless?


SweetHeart, thanks for your reply. I'm trying to follow a certain stat build, and am keeping con the same as my level until 100. I am looking to have raised my str to 97 by level 100 while raising my INT to 181 and my con to 100.

Also, what kind of gear shall I go for? I don't want to invest heavily in gear now, to find out I should be upgrading for my level.

You can always check the MAGE guide which it should help you. For thegear, like I told you. Go with reinforced for the def & HP .
