Hi Thiefmates,

 

I am planning to Enchant my Nab's Cloth perfectly what would be a better option a

 

Nab's Cloth with ATK+3% ATK+3% ATK+3%

 

or

 

Nab's Cloth with FS3 FS4 FS6

 

Saying  I have this Atk on my status window => 212 + 590

 

Also how is ATK percentages from items calculated on the ATK of a player is it on the left part only which is 212, on the right which is 590 or both which will be 802.

I would say, go for atk percentage. Try boosting your atk everywhere else to make good use of those 9% increase. For example giant protection with g. scaraba, shield spell, +15 crimson katar, etc. The more atk everywhere else, the more damage with the 9% increase. If you are struggling getting lots of atk, then just go for FS.

I see, so based on the current ATK on my status window which is 212 + 590 = 802, that would be 802 * 0.09 = 72.18 that would be around 72-73 bonus ATK am I correct?

The % affects the sum total of your weapon atk, equip atk, and pseudo-buff atk (which works like equip atk but doesn't show up on the window).

 

The number on the right in the status window shows your weapon atk + equip atk, but it does not show your str bonus to your weapon (which is 1% of the weapon's base atk for every 2 STR). You can get the specifics from the link in my signature, or from the irowiki page on atk ( https://irowiki.org/wiki/ATK ).

 

Long story short, the number on the right (and it should actually be a bit higher, by about 50-60% of your weapon's base atk). 

 

Personally, I wouldn't spend the money necessary to perfect enchant the nab's cloth and instead get an abusive robe that has STR enchants on it.

Abusive Robes suck, they have one good niche which is the bypass, something that will be rendered useless later on.

STR enchant % is higher than ATK % if that is what one is going for, and it can be used on more than one class. 

 

I default EDA on my GX so it's not my personal use.

It's not strength %, it's flat Str and ATK %. And there are better options out there as soon as Squirrel Hood comes into play, even Executioner Boots :U

You did absolutely nothing to piss me off, I am just trying to make a point to the new comer, don't waste your time going for X, Y or Z, better alternatives exists already.

Though this argument goes too far in a direction I don't believe in -- I wouldn't bother perfect enchanting a nab's cloth regardless of what options we do or don't have with future gear, since EDA is the better leveling gear and for end game damage you always have flame dragon armor or the wasteful abusive robe.

The two aforementioned items will completely surpass the Abusive Robe, making it moot. Flame Dragon Armor is a much better alternative to Abusive. It requires far less investment and the only true thing that makes the abusive robe good is if you get that extra defense bypass, which as I said will eventually become moot. No doubt by the middle of this year we will have both of the mentioned items. Just need to follow the pattern.

But every single bypass item in the game that comes through OCP is capped at 50% upon entry.

even the, it still offers 5% atk 10% delay, slot. The delay alone makes it one of the best accessories in the game.

I am wondering is delay skill reduction with the after attack delay reduction is the same thing ? please elaborate if you don't mind sir

after attack delay reduction is Attack Speed, delay skill reduction is one of the many cooldowns of the game.
