Hi everyone,

 

Having an issue just now where I can log into my account and choose channels but once it gets to the character selection screen................well nothing. It just shows a completely blank screen and I can do anything but press the ESC button and quit the game. Any help is greatly appreciated on the matter.

Hello PervySagEMarty and Lexarte,

I am sorry you encountered this problem, please be aware that you are not the only ones experiencing this problem, so don't panic! 

 

Even if your characters don't show or show without any gear or costume don't panic, everything is fine. 

 

It's unclear why is this happening, but the problem can be temporarily resolved if you patiently wait 5 minutes when the Character Screen appears.

 

Right now it's still early at Warpportal's headquarters but they will for sure investigate the matter once they get to office later.

Maybe it's just me but lately there has been some players returning to RO2 to play. maybe it flooded the server a bit?

I'm kind of having the same issue. I can get to the character select screen, but no characters show. Only background.

 

Someone said it may be the servers lagging a bit, to wait a few minutes and they may show. They did. I was playing just fine for about 15-20 minutes, then it got really iffy and I couldn't use skills, etc. So, I chalked it up to more lag, (maybe?  ), decided to re-log, aaaaand.. Now, nothing works. I waited at the character screen for about an hour (background window, of course), and still, nothing. At some point, I hit the space bar and it crashed/closed everything.. But, still, now.. Nothing.

 

As for now.. I wait.

 

That's okay, I'm fine.

Same problem, the game is unplayable =/

Changing character takes like 5-30 min, ingame actions are extremly slow, mail and guild storage lag.

Breathe deep and slowly like me, having that exact issue, waited 2 hours and nothing happens.

 

Will wait for a fix.

I suppose it's because your ping is probably high. I had the same problem these days due to intense internet traffic. ..
