Hi Thiefmates,

 

With all the new gears out there I can see a lot of items that increase Cross Impact Damage so I think investing on CI equips would be good.

 

My question is what would be the best Weapons for Cross Impact. Please exclude MVP cards as I can't afford them. True Eremes Card and Glorious Weps are acceptable.

There is no need to focus in increasing Cross Impact, because you gonna use EDP for damage boost

I mean, other than the obvious headgear, it'd be a glorious Flamberge in main hand with a 4x True Eremes Valkyrie Knife in off hand. 

 

Also, EDP works with CI (just is reduced in its effect, like sonic blow).

If the target is Demi Human will Glorious Flamberge be the best option?

Doesn't bother me (mostly) tbh. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, and even if I'm right people should still share what their thoughts are. 

 

For PVP/WoE (not counting doram) glorious flamberge x valk knife is the way to go.

 

For other enemies/MVPs, there may be better combinations, but I think it will depend so much on "rest of your setup" that I wouldn't bother with it out of inconvenience. 

 

For example, on an MVP that isn't demi-human, you may be better off with a quad liberation or 2xRace-2xElement offhand and triple eremes RTE main hand, with armor + garment + accessories + headgear enchant giving you generic atk % (especially since you have a huge mod to the skill from the hat too, and diminishing returns take place). 

 

I assumed OP meant WoE/PVP, but eh.

Yeah I am actually asking for WoE/PVP. Does Glorious Flamberge doesnt work on the off hand?

It does work in offhand, but it has higher ATK than a valk knife so if you used that combo you'd put flamberge in main hand and valk in offhand.  

 

If you were to main-hand the RTE, then the flamberge would go in left hand, since RTE is 30 base atk higher than RTE (though if RTE is in main hand, then you could use glorious gladius in left as well, assuming you don't care about the other benefits that may be different between the the two like ASPD or def pierce).

But with only half of damage when we use EDP, i think better to focus on increasing damage on CRS rather than Cross Impact or am i wrong ?

When under EDP, the skill mod for CI is halved (as according to wiki, but also you can just test damage). 

 

Still, it's a different play style. CRS is great too, but the two function differently and have different limitations. Different strokes and all that.

2. How about true GX card , does it work at left hand wep?

3. What do you guys think with G.flamberge and valkknife/RTE? will it out damage GBR at CI?

Guys,

 

I'm acually farming weapons in bio3.

 

Using a +13 glorious bloody roar, my Cross Impact damage reach about 220k damage on cecile sniper, without any endow.

 

I'm also using :

 

+10 old boned circlet.

Mob scarf+sunnies

Brynhild/+9 kardui robe/+12 abusive robe

+9 FAW of power

+9 temp str FS

Giant's protection

Blacksmith's Glove

 

According to what I've read on different posts, I decided to give a try to wearing a sword. So I just made this :

 

+9 glorious flamberge

+7 triple bloody boned valk knife

 

Unfortunately, the damage is lower than using the +13 glorious bloody roar.

 

I can hardly reach 175 damage instead of 220k with the katar.

 

My question : Is this low damage due to the low upgrade lvl of flamberge and knife ? I won't give it a try right now because enriched hamer has left.

 

I'm really dispointed, as I thought that flamberge + kinfe would easily beat the katar, even at only +9 !!!

 

I am not willing to spend billions for a 3x true eremes card weapon.

 

So i guess I've just lost half a day collecting/buying GFSS to exchange for 400 eden badge, then KVM badges, so as to get this flamberge + 150mil for the knife...unless you guys tell me that the damage difference will be huge if I +12 this weapon...

your katar is +13 vs a +9 kvm. that om its own is already a huge deal (katars also get the boost from adv katar mastery). And lastly your card combination is very inefficient. Dont use hydras when you already have a KVM.

OMG I feel so depressed now.

 

So yeah guys : Think twice before trying to switch to dagger/knife setup, unless you are willing to spend those billions for xxx true eremes weapon.

so if kvm on main weapon then true eremes and mvp cards are not available what will be the best option for valk knife is it quad boned? on demi human targets

If not using Eremes, then either 4x Boned (enter joke here) or 4x Liberation on boss protocol ones. 

 

If you were bored enough, you could make 4x Elemental offhands (and not refine them) since those cards are pretty cheap anyway, and elemental is 20% instead of the size's 15%. 

 

You wouldn't need to use a valk knife at that point and could just use an MG or even a cutter since off hand's attack is mostly not important.
