Hey,

I tried out bio 5 today finally after coming back to the game a few days ago, and failed quite miserably in terms of soloing it.

The only thing I managed to down easily was Howards. And only one on one.

Also, couldn't help but notice some things are fuky in there, as in the monsters don't want to get manholed or when using urgent escape they won't really want to get trapped either.

So I am wondering, have you guys managed to effectively solo that level of biolabs yet? If yes, do you have any videos of it? Would be cool to see that.

I was thinking about using an abusive robe with a hatii card in it, and switching to +15 phreeoni hydra crimson bow, as sometimes apparently even with 120dex after some monsters reach like 30% health I'd start missing my hits.

Curious about your thoughts and experiences

What use of your hatii? They wont freeze since they are bosses.
Killing them one by one with TS is viable, but not effective and efficient.

You need a killing method that bypasses Flee.

 

That's why most people solo it with Gen, GX, or WL because Agi-up is not a problem for them.

 

Crit RG and Doram are fine too.

and RK of course:) I do farm a lot of frags on crit RK too.

 

By the way, as Shadowchaser, I believe you should be able to fight the mvps as a crit-ass shadow chaser too. Lest you forget, Thief's manual grants you maximum power thrust for 100% damage boost (and frenzy, but i dont tihnk you'll want to use frenzy there lol), plus assumptio and windwalk for defense. Then just do your autocast stuff as per usual ASS stalkers too, but with magician gloves on.

 

feint bomb+backslide to get out of sticky situations, like big skills etc.

some of them use agi up, going with phree card is useless against this, you wont reach 1k+ Hit

I've seen a SC there using triangle shot build with a maestro, it was cool but not efficient.

Ok so using your information that you guys wrote above I decided to use this

 

 

and it  goes quite well.... apart from when a Celia or KK appear, then goodbi for me.

 

 

Other than that I've been wondering, for the demi human monsters in bio3, would a +9/11 KVM bow be better than a +15 double bloody crimson bow?
