That does not answer my question. Why would you set an autowin price if you're going to sell for higher than the autowin?

yurai - who wouldn't want to buy good items than autowin in which multiple people want? Who would sell kimart wings when someone offered higher than the autowin set at the market price? I guess not, unless it is reserved for a special item that i myself will need. this game is not like ebay that you will automatically buy at the set price unless its from the market. If people offer higher, then you get the higher bid. Say you're going to sell a good mimir ring that someone offered 4k at the buy it now price but suddenly changed their mind and priced it higher because either it could be the only one in market or just to simply compete with others and get the higher bid. If there was anyone in this world that would not take the higher offer than expected, that would be a 1 out of a infinite chance, unless they are already stacked and have everything they need.

I would sell it to the first autowin buyer unless he/she says he/she does not want the item or specified thing anymore, in that case the person with the other higher bid will win at the price he offered. I would rate this auction as a "risk factor" for buying items higher than autowin is priced at but i go by fair order in which each individual person will come to me first. Basically it's not your rules that's going by, its by fair deal in chronological order.

recalled - as said as before, someone already offered 5k and a set of good items to trade. so far it's not priced at autowin though because the items wont equal 10k along with the 5k gold, so you can offer at the immediate price or higher than the "expected" 8k amount.

Well then, update your thread with the current offers so people can actually offer. You obviously don't understand how auctions work if you have an auto win which doesn't mean anything.... might as well just take off the auto win.

If you are going to make an auction thread with an autowin, you should abide by auction etiquette. With what you're doing, there is no point in setting an autowin, since people are able to just offer higher in order to steal the item away from the person who autowinned the item. I do not think you understand what an autowin is. Your mimir example is a terrible comparison because the person in question did not make a thread to auction the ring with a specific autowin price. If you lost the deal on an item up on the market, then that's your own fault for not taking advantage of the low price and buying it then. The seller had no obligation to keep the price as is.
