Actually Red Baby Dragon Hat may not be as nice as you think it is. By wearing this headgear, you give up Heart Wing Hairband, which results in loss of 14-17% Cast delay reduction. So you are effectively making a tradeoff for more damage per cast vs spammability.

not for those kielx2 players though. Its a straight up power boost for these guys, if they go TGL instead of mace+shield.

So this hat benefits the OP RK players much more than average RK players, now I see a good reason why we shouldnt have it on the server.

I see, but anyway you are a physical RK, while the baby dragon hat is for DB RK, so a different story for you. I actually think physical RKs still need buffs, but maybe its just me.

DB rk already too powerful, it's practically mobile tank flame/ice thrower, that fire like crazy, 

 

2x Kiel + Tao + EA 1/2 Sarah Earing + Fairy Leaf, Max Ea FAW+ Max EA TGL and baby dragon hat? u must be kidding

The thing that is confusing to me about that spear is that it seems to have guaranteed HP leech as well. 

 

Also it is slotted (1 slot). 

 

It's an amazing weapon for phys/db and also for RG (possibly best general purpose 1-h spear, great for exceed break too). The DB thing seems OP here because in its native server, jRO, EA mods do not affect DB. 

 

When we eventually get the change/nerf that ranged % mods only work with dex-based weapons -- guns/bows (and I think instruments) -- db RK will suddenly be wanting a damage boost since for many that will be cut their damage output in half or more.

 

Gens will also cry ofc and things like Cylinder Hairband will be surprisingly good but much more balanced. 

 

As Black Cross said though, those are in-game content there and not from cash shop and so less likely to show up here. 

 

Same thing with the katar that gives thanatos effect I believe. 

which patch is this?

 

KRO is going to invalidated all the EA enchant equips? I can see huge drop in server pop when/if this gets implement in iro.

Well think about the bright side, you already know ahead of time that EA enchants won’t work for DB and CC in future. With this information you can begin selling these items right now at the current high market price. Once the update arrives, the ppls unaware of this change will end up with weak gears that will have to sell at much lower price or rot in their kafra storage. I would appreciate this market information myself, it helps me plan ahead.

yeah, those player unaware of the changes coming are going to take it well having all their ea enchant equips invalidated.

 

 either these angry players will raise 1 hell of a fuss 1 of 3 things will happen

 

1. iro blocks implementation of the ea enchant change in the patch (paramarket). Which case the joke is on you for selling you ea equips.

2. iro goes through with the changes to ea enchants and 1/4 of the server pop disappears.

3. the players will grumble and accept what happen.

 

Which seems most likely to happen?

pretty sure the "update" refers to future ranged enchants being classified as bow only, and not reworking the existing modifier. (like the bio5 enchant, raydric and mavka scrolls, etc)

Yeah I am not sure if all EA will be changed, if some skills will be changed, or if a new enchants will only be the more gated version of the ranged % enchants will come out that only work with bows/guns (and instruments/whips?). 

 

I would like it to be retroactive but oh well.

The game is already an enchantment mess, it seems it will be as it has always been, Ranger gets the cake while other try to have a taste of it :(

Oh wait... I'm not sure is this already added by the past OCP.

 

On IRO 2013, I saw no one used Wind Cutter because its power was too low. With this accessory, now many RK at JRO can easily kill Celakanth (fish bosses) at Malangdo. (but not my RK lolololol)

The game has been broken long ago since the subscription based RO Transformed into F2P based with permanent OP Cash Shop Gears sold in Cash Shop.

Even without OCP The P2W will continue with alternative item mall gears from kRO which share OPness similarities with jRO gears

Yeah this is exactly where the problem is, like what I see from the VIP perks thread. Some ppls dont want to pay for VIP subscription, nor do they want to pay OCP cashshops, then what is WP doing here at all for these ppls who just dont want to pay anything at all? This is business, not charity.

Y'know this is the only game I have played where you can easily obtain (pretty much all) cash shop items with in-game currency along with being able to purchase WPE with zeny for VIP time (not officially sanctioned, but successful deals happen constantly). Oh and there's only like 9,382 ways to make zeny on RO.

 

To anyone left that is disgusted by cash shop offerings, simply don't use the gear. Are you directly competing with other players in your normal game play? Probably not, so it doesn't matter to you.
