I was going to write a public letter of shame to kRO for the -_- that they actually send us. But as Zero pointed out, it would just potentially lead to what happened to RO2 when they got together.

 

They treat Chaos like -_-, it was one thing having problems with in game content, as we are behind and they get stuff for us whenever they feel like it.

 

But I am getting sick to -_- death of them sending us broken, miss-managed packages. What adds salt to the wound is this IS THE PAY TO WIN STUFF. If they can't even bother giving stuff that works that is pay to win, just how much -_-s can they give about anything else.

 

kRO won't change. iRO can't afford this in the long run, you would like to think even the whales of the community will give a -_- about the stuff that they pay for. WP needs a local dedicated developer to manage the item scripts. It's not hard work and it is needed. It's all nice that Campitor can manage scripts well, but he is being pulled in too many directions at any given time for it to work.

 

We shouldn't be waiting months (1year 1month and counting) for items to be fixed, and that's JUST focusing on the OCP ones. Fix the mess that kRO will never ever -_- do.

Every year the same topic.

Because of the ro:zero make kro a crossover updating. That means : the server updates get more delays and less fixing the bugs.

The OCP-Stuff is only cash-cow-stategy. The kro-developer team decrease more and more. And it will come more p2w-stuff.

You can ask OBBO regarding OCP items in JRO. AFAIK he said those are quite expensive and few have them.

Gungho designed them, kRO then proceeds to poorly implement them without testing or anything. They come here, where the biggest person qualified to properly check them over doesn't have enough time to do it. Every single time a new staffer is hired or appointed to RO1, a new server comes along, so you can't even hope for training if everyone is busy managing a server. Managing scripts is a full time thing, and they don't have it handled.

tbh Gravity Need to Realize that Renewal is far more success compared to their Revo Strategy, even if Zero Is come back , I doubt the Hype will be Like Restart because ppl already got dissapointed 

 

 

They actually need to  progress and fix the damn Renewal #DiscontinueOCP. if iRO died, so do other renewal server,

 

 

Also I doubt staff here can give any word, It's simply they can't do anything, it's all on Gravity HQ fault who pushing this

 

They Underestimate renewal so much, while Compared to Restart Renewal Much more newbie friendly even after they ruin it, another official server (idRO) already prove that their renewal server is far more healty than their revo classic one.

 

it's not about keeping playerbase, it's about how 2 get a new one because I'm not gonna play this game forever even when I already play since 15 years, I have lifespan, life work ect and can't play like when I was a kid anymore, and so do to any other veteran around here, while RO has nothing to offer to newer generation at this moment

 

 

 

it's time to move 2 the future, seriously

 

 

Note : I'm not expecting staff reply or whatsoever, I'm pretty understand their SOP because I've experience in similar industry, I just hope my message reach their executive level (which probably not) and make them change their approach.

Currently, Campitor is the one man army of it all, but his time is spread too thin. It's -_- annoying. If they had five spare Campitor's lying around then the server would be fixed within half a year.

 

As for Magus, they still need time.

as far as I know these kind of job isn't required lot of ppl, they mostly screw due to licensing issues with the dev

 

I do hoping wp has more power on iRO rather than just the executor

From what I can tell there are 27 employees in the USA who presumably run all titles (9-ish).

like ppl will care about the mechanic, it's still RO and gaining market is really hard compared to 15 years ago, we ragnarok fan who already taste the game might be understand the difference, but how about People who never play the game ?

 

I start ragnarok when I'm on elementary school (seriously) and now I'm already working while writing my thesis in collage, it's has been forever already,

 

RO always be part of my life, despite the outdated sprite I still love it because it's deep mechanic, my character is progressed as I grown up and I do want to see this game still exist even when I already got married

But why can't changes be made to the core RO servers? They're obviously against pre-Renewal servers, but I don't see why they couldn't just update Renewal with Revo-Classic mechanics. Instead of advertising what is essentially the same game with all these convoluted names, just update the darn base game.
