everyone is discussing about the nerf on passby effect , but btw is that the effect of Reduces the variable casting time of Meteor Assault by 7% per level of Counter Slash000000, Weapon Blocking and Weapon Crush known. being nerf as well ?

 

even i get max up those 3 skill but still come with variable casting time , but if 3 skill max shalll be 3(skill)*5(maxskill lvl)*7% = 105%

 

please correct me if i am wrg , thx

The nerf on DEF bypass is fine since you can easily achieve 70% DEF piercing with blacksmith gloves(20% from Enforcer Shoes + 50% from Blacksmith Gloves), for DEF bypass 70% is more than enough. Would've been a completely different story if its MDEF bypass, since 70% would've been barely even acceptable.

yes , that seem to be acceptable , but how about the reduce on variable cast time ? i alrdy max 3 skill with the effect -105% shall be means that can cast immediately ? but the thing is not working

 

 

it just seem like applied -35% instead of -105% ,

its got a fixed cast. how much? if im not mistaken Nirvanna said 0.3s

You also need to reduce the .3s sec fixed cast (Fenrir Card + Sacra, Magic Essence) and 73% of the delay to spam it at 193 ASPD (7 MA/sec).

 

Edit: or you can ask for the -.5sec fixed cast costume from kRO

Enforcer shoes ATK % increase function call will be switched to the older one that behaves as expected.

Thanks Camp!, it turns out there is an ATK% increase that affects weapon attack only, and then there is the global one we all know and love.

Does SChaser can have benefits from the shoes when paired with Thief guide vol1 accesory ?it has level 5 meteor burst too.
i think the real problem is the damage and SP cost if you get the max no cast and delay

look at the skill requirement, SC didn't have poison react or counter slash to make it good or spammable

Not, currently it's using a version of ATK% that only effects the weapon attack, it is completely skipping everything else. This is amazingly noticable on a GX if you use EDP. Apparently next maint it will be fixed.

In iRO, Is Enforcer Shoes effect "Reduce variable cast time" a completely meaningless effect?

"Meteor Assault" does not have variable cast time. has fixed casting time.

By the way, jRO "Meteor Assault" have only variable cast time. its effected.

part fixed and part variable.

The shoes makes the skill instant in jRO because all of their pre-3rd skills are fully variable.

the gx in the video didnt even spent all the points needed to get total cast reduction from the shoes '-'

and mechanically, jRO does not have fixed cast in skills previous to 3rd job

Also, fixed cast time reduction in seconds/fraction of seconds through gear doesnt exists on jRO. They dont mess with it.
