Hmm 50KP per HE Gum. that's..  good? Idk, I don't pay much attention to KP<->Zeny/WPE<->Zeny rates lol.

The price of HE Bubble Gum keeps rising despite the fact that drop rate event is gone. A few days ago I remember ppls were wondering why no one bothers to farm in sky fortress for the weapons, this is one important reason lol.

it's likely because people now realize that resale is garbage, so they're not buying enough boxes resulting in not enough supply. you also have people who realize this ahead of time who buy mass bulk off temporarily cheap vendors because they know the prior statement to be fact and understand that its going to hit... 8-9m anyway.

Gum in OCP wont change  gum prices much, we need grove boxes with HE Gum again.

It's 9m because the 10 boxes are 500 kp, aka 50kp per gum. For those who haven't noticed, the state of KP cost has risen a lot, mostly due to OCP. It's pretty much market wise setting close to 19m per 100 atm. At best, the market cools down and it is 7.5m per gum, but only we get a box full of it at a high rate of return, don't expect much :U

Take away this box and put a "HE Gum 20 box" for the same price and we're fine.

Yup I agree with Kusa, clearly WP's current HE Bubble Gum pricing is dictating the market price of HE Bubble Gum from vendors, and it seems that WP is intentionally trying to make the Gum more expensive.

The way it is now it generates a "do or die" behavior. You either buy them anyway, because if you happen to drop an MVP Card or rare item, it will likely pay for all the gums you consumed up to that point (the problem is when it only pays for the gum, like my Moonie Card ¬¬), or you simply won't buy the gum and won't farm as well, because the extremely low chance to get these drops will only make you keep wasting not only your time, but also a lot of money with Gums.

 

EDIT: There are some that won't buy gum and farm anyways, but I'm pretty sure WP would like at least all of the "non farmers" above and some of these "non-gum farmers" to buy gum boxes. It would certainly increase their revenue.

somehow with the topic on hand prices rose again to 9.5M. My farming is halted for the time being since my gums have just been spent. Dont really want to pay so much for gums xD

I might have done so immediately a month ago, but i swore to myself no more $$$ to WP unless there's RK specific stuff after my disappointment with OCPXIV.

Or increase duration. 9.5m in 15 minutes doesn’t guarantee you an insta mvp card. And mostly mvp cards that costs 1-3b are junk. The gum you used doesn’t get paid off. They have this, why not start selling it? https://www.divine-p...bubble-gum-plus

I cried a little inside when I looked at Neuralizers on Ragial...KP rates are not pretty right now.

If we will have this, the price tag may be as much as 18m and then it’s not much better than 2 HE Bubble Gum at all.

I also don't like the way that Gum times are counted (non-stop). If at least it's timer stopped when you are in town, and you could calmly use storage and get eden buffs before the next second round, they would be worth it. 8M is my cap, I won't buy over that price, and I'll also stop farming. Might as well stop paying for VIP...

In this case, the idea may as well extend to BMX3 and Job Manual as well, the timer should stop if you are in town or wherever that does not have monster spawns.

Everyone is missing the real question, when do we get BGX3 to match our BMX3?

Gums are kind of pointless. Unlike a BMX3 or something, there's no guaranteed return.

 

I'm paying 50kp to bring an infinitismally small chance of 0.03% to... 0.06%? Yeah, because that's so different...
