It's a more complex problem sadly. Though with RO Zero being a thing, maybe they might fix that stupid numerical storage.

the only possibility is to have a NPC that converts zeny to item. item to zeny.
then again, possible exploitation? idk how but WP has to take safety measures against that

Unfortunately having a secondary currency that is a physical item could possibly become a victim of duping and likely would not be implemented.

I agree with the coin thing, converting zeny into set amounts or coins or even like "bars" I also do miss having the Bank in pront but I don't know how much you were able to put in there. I myself are dirt poor so I can't really relate but it just seems silly creating characters for the sake of zeny storage.

I like the idea of creating a bit coin type of currency. 1 bitcoin = 1b z. It also makes the work of GMs a lot easier. The only drawback is that the game will more look like a pserver.

They've surely been aware of it for over 10 years, why would they do anything about it now?

They'd have to move off DirectX 7 first, which they tried on kRO Sakray a few years ago (or so I hear), then rolled that back. And building for 64-bit won't magically make all your numbers 64-bit (it'd be a huge problem if it did).
You don't need a 64-bit program or 64-bit CPU to use 64-bit integers though. Changing Zeny to 64-bit wouldn't be hard, just take a ton of work. They'd have to change every little piece of code that handles Zeny, and unless they push a patch to all official RO servers globally at the same time, that would add yet another huge diversion to the codebase branches.

A simple solution would be a 2nd currency like other mmos do.
Like 100 copper = 1 silver
With MVP cards be traded at ~45b most, it would help a lot. if there is a "coin" (item) or currency that is exact worth zeny times 100 and so on.
Also would make trades much safier!

the banker in pRO is not the problem the problem is the GM they released alot of items every request is approve and alot of players who use real money to buy load in iRO (WP) gets the high end items and there is a yearly event were you can bid real money simply by buying tons of load in the event were you get to pick a price when you reach a certain amout like 500k (which is 10K $) just to get +20 sets automatically and also you can get a chance to get godly items in the raffle you get a couple for every load so if your a rich person were you can afford to spent tons of money youll get everything. thats teh main reason they milk cow the players not the bank so if you dont know the real story don't say its because of the banker banker has nothing to do with it. its the management they also released MVP via NPC cause mvp dont drops cards if it drops the GM while confiscate it i encounter it a couple of times. and to let everybody know that +15 safe certicate in pRO you can get it when you load a certain amout in a given specific time table were like you can avail it. +15 is just +4 in pRO your going to get laugh at when you just have a +9 item everyone in the server has +15 common and +20 for the elites. this is just to make the story short!

I remember this post, 5 years in existence and they don't have solution regarding this... Cross-finger if these ideas are "even" put into consideration... They've released redundant ingredients to this game yet the lack of priority concerning zeny limit is nowhere to be found..
