i'm posting this here in case its not seen in steam.
we need a change in the way conceding a game works.
if i am fighting a battle and take 1 tower i am more and more finding the battle suddenly ending. They concede i win by definition as they admit defeat. There is no disconnect no like shenanigans just a victory for me a loss for them because they realised it was not going to be a win right or not.
but in ranked i'm getting no points for it. a concede is getting me 0 ranks or 1 rank maybe if i'm lucky.
whats stopping people just leaving constantly the first sign of trouble and even if they are losing ranks for losing i get nothing out of the experience for the win.
I am worried that early premature conceding will make the game worth less to play and climb ladders. if they concede early then fair enough i can accept a disconnect not going punished but halfway through a game the turn after i kill a hero and am technically winning by a fair margin from 4-10 turns of play.
please find a compromise which does not penalise winners for winning.
the sheer loss of ranks for a loss is also a big reason for this change i can't lose 37 ranks for a loss then have 3 wins for a combined total of 0-3 ranks back.
