Just wondering where your name came about.

 

For my two crafters, I just wanted a a clever name attached to my products.

 

for instance +7 Very Very Strong Synthesized's Ice Claymore. or Concentrated's Blue Potion.

 

My knight's name is Swordstorm, which would be a flurry of sword attacks (Bowling Bash). Similar to GRRM's ASoIaF's A Storm of Swords.

 

So who's up for sharing?

Mine evolved in a weird way.

I had a guild called Symphony on Trickster Online back in the day, then used Symphony as my family name on Terms of Service, so I ended up choosing fitting adjectives to go before that for my different characters.

And then I kinda just took that concept for this game, ending up with all my characters being x Symphony.

It's my actual nickname I've had since middle school.

Castle Bravo is the name of the largest ever nuclear bomb, detonated in 1954 in the Marshall islands and is a fitting name for a Knight. A Clockwork Corpse is a play on A Clockwork Orange, Treblinka is named after a sleepy little town/deathcamp in Poland. Disposable Hero is a derogatory term used for infantry and holds a special place in my blackened heart.

I am so bad at making character names.

 

I decided to not put any effort into it and came up with the naming scheme "This~" to describe the function of a given class.

 

Let us say that I wanted a knight with a focus on bash. I would name it ~Bash This~, ~Fist This~, ~Heal This~, ect...

 

If I did not do this, I would have never been able to play because I would still be here trying to figure out a name.

 

This made character names thoughtless and effortless.

 

I have decided to ditch that after so many years with the venture to a new server.

 

Now, I am using the name a friend gave me years ago after I found programming to be my passion in life.

 

Xor is an assembly term my friend added to my name because at the time all I did was enjoy reading assembly code. Best 2 years of my life because I learned so much.

But theDude and it's many variations of .the.Dude. ..the.Dude.. .theDude. and now Special Lady Friend come from the cult classic "The Big Lebowski".

Kryptos = Ciphertext sculpture sitting in the CIA, I love codes and puzzles. So this intrigued me

At first i wanted something to sound wolflike, so the first thing that came to mind was " wolfen" wich was taken, so since i was playing LK back then (around the time when the rachel patch came to rrnewal) so i went with Lord Wolfen.

Latter i learned that i heard wolfen from the game starfox (the ships that wolf and its crew used)

My characters are all themed after Madoka-style magical girls, though four of them are OCs I made beforehand. My main, JenniferAlbrecht, is named after one of those OCs, who I've also adapted into the main character of a Nuzlocke run I did last year.
