I would like this topic to reflect what excites the community about the future or current content of Ragnarok:Restart.

 

If there is content you just can't wait for, I would like to hear it. We all have those things in Ragnarok that we have grown to love over the years and they might just not be here yet.

 

I will start by listing some of the content that I can not wait for.

 

WoE 2.0: This brought WoE to a whole new level of game play. I can not wait to have both options. I hope we get TE too!

 

Sorcerer: This is by far my most loved class. Married to a linker I can use kahii to live forever and cast AoE to kill everything. It is so much fun. Having greed and endure is going to make it so much better.

 

Dewata Dungeon: This is much needed for the elu/ori crisis that we are facing now.

 

Transcendent Class: Oh my...Now this one really gets me excited. I don't think that I have to explain why.

 

Endless Tower: Who would not want to MvP for fun every week.

 

Last but not least the most important of all and the reason I made the choice to join this server in the first place.

NO GTB IN WOE!

 

Maybe some of you could help spark that excitement that this community needs right now.

Oh I forgot that his WoE guild plan is to make an army of wizards and script them on multiple computers to auto cast in defense lolol

If 2018 can just hold on to it's current population of WoE participants, i'd be satisfied.

 

Beyond that, i'm not excited for anything else. I've lost all hope for anything worthwhile or fun or exciting to happen.

1 month passes, market quadruples. If your zeny isn't in silvervine or equips right now you're losing zeny by the minute.

 

I was looking forward to Nameless Island groups and Niddhoggr crawls and excited for EVENTUALLY experiencing 3rd class but I don't think there will be anyone on the server left to party with by then...

 

And in the current time frame I was looking forward to leveling my Wiz, Priest, Bard, Dancer, etc. in Juperos, but lol... Guess ill Knight:Leech them there now.

I guess that I did leave out that I am excited about everyone joining my guild so that we can bring a decent fight to WoE.

 

My bad. I am only asking for 50 people. I don't find that to much to ask for.

Have you tried Juperos since the patch. We only increased the damage by 100-200 depending on the monster.

But I will say in camps defense, the increase they did to jup was fine and not like it could have been and just means gotta use more fish

Meanwhile, most parties have opted out of inviting any class killers due to experience still being worthwhile, instead opting for Knight:Leech only and many have opted out of playing those classes solo there because it requires a bil in gear or a bil in silvervine or both and is ultimately cheaper and faster on a Knight. 

 

Now, i'm not saying that me and Spoons as tryhards couldn't do it or couldn't form a kickass party that could wreck it...

 

But I am saying that I am not going to play my inferior class that consumes way more resources for way less gain when I can leech it from a knight much easier, cheaper and faster.

 

The fact that a poor nub in this inflated ass economy had a shot at leveling and partying with just about any group was nice, was it not?

 

Now that poor nub is going to get laughed at and turned away if he does not have a Knight: to come with him. Now he can go back to soloing wherever he was and complaining that restart has no parties.

 

Edit: I want to reinforce the fact that my argument has 100% been about everyone else and not me. I have no problem Knight:Leeching myself if it's more efficient and saves me time, money and zeny and I had full intentions on being able to continue doing so at Juperos. I legit spent money and zeny to prepare for exactly that. Knight:Leech all of my characters that I wish to trans to 99 before March. But for the folks that do not wish to do so, they're now going to have a more difficult and lengthy trip. And for myself, I would have accepted 20-25m/hr in a fun Jup party on my alts, but now I can just do 20-25m/hr solo Knight:Leech, 50m+ if I get hooked up with the right folks.

Step 1) Drop $100 on WP for VIP and WoE boxes

Step 2) Make a merchant

Step 3) Sell Silvervine

Step 4) Make a knight

Step 5) Make your actual character

Step 6) Now leech yourself to 99

 

There's a problem. I've watched numerous folks walk away from this server and the depleting number of replies on the forums should show you how quickly it's going downhill as well. Had you left Juperos alone and not listed to the Studio about the fkin Valk Boxes, you had a shot. I believe you have ruined it. Good day sir.

Knight party is 65m/h and you level 2 chars at once.

 

Why would anyone gimp himself and lets say level a wizard with what? max 35m/h? And only level 1 char with -_-ty exp?

- Transcendent classes: More specifically, Trans classes being the most powerful classes available. While I didn't mind playing as some 3rd classes in Renewal years ago, there were still some balancing issues that came along with them too. Trans classes being the end of the line will give us some fun and powerful options through skills, etc. while not completely messing up the general game balance.

 

- "New" content: This might sound strange coming from someone who played Renewal quite a bit - I already had this stuff available to me for a long time, so why would I care about it here? And I also started with Renewal so it's not like I have any nostalgia from Classic-era updates. But the thing is, by the time I joined Renewal there was like no reason to explore a good deal of the locations or quests that had been added in over time. 3rd classes made many places trivial to fight through and unrewarding to explore, including fighting MVPs despite how they had been re-balanced around 3rd classes, but many other areas still remained inaccessible to me since I never got to level up high enough for them. Plus things like the Gramps TIs made grinding anywhere else past level 70 (outside of like Biolabs) completely unnecessary unless you had to farm a specific item or you simply didn't know about it at the time (read: me ). It's telling when even a guildie from a PvM guild I was in organizing a party to do Thanatos Tower sounded like a massive deal - this stuff just wasn't something people cared about. This is why I like the idea of RE:Start so much, since having all this content become "fresh" again means people will have some reason (nostalgia being a big one for most) to explore and fight in the actual game world (as in, not just an instance like the Gramps TIs).

 

- Revival of Morroc: Tying into the above point, here's the update I'm most looking forward to becoming "new" again. Joining some time after the Renewal update meant that the lead-up quests to Satan Morroc's revival had already been removed - he'd been revived so there was no more need for them. Thematically speaking, I've always been intrigued by the events surrounding Satan Morroc, as it brought some rather significant changes to the game world - Morroc, a city the RO community had known and loved for years, was devastated, half of the Sograt Desert was just gone, and Satan Morroc's "defeat" even set up the introduction of a whole new group of maps in the New World. And even though I never got a chance to fight him in Renewal, the boss fight itself always seemed interesting based on what I knew about it, as I'm the kind of guy who loves figuring out a good challenge.
