for chars, the level difference between the player and the monster are factored in exp (i.e. if a monster is +10 levels of a players level, the player gets 140% exp). how does this apply to homuns? let's say player base is 90 and homun is 60. will a homun level more fighting monsters level 70 or 100?

on a side note, is there a way to see how much exp the homun gets when a monster is killed? only the exp gains of the char is shown in the message window.

Homuns are entirely uneffected by level bonus/penalty. Of course, the exp the player gets from homun kills is effected normally.

No, no way to see homun exp gain.

actually, it is visible, but in certain cases, inacurrately

for example, a monster that gives 1000 exp and 1200 jexp

If is killed by the player only, client should show:
** 1000' EXP received
** 1200' Job EXP received

If is killed by both player and homunculus (25% homun - 75% player), client should show (i'm not sure if the client takes the EXP tap in the calc):
EITHER
** 750' EXP received
** 900' Job EXP received

** 250' EXP received

OR
** 250' EXP received
** 750' EXP received
** 900' Job EXP received


If is killed by both player and homunculus (75% homun - 25% player), client should show:
EITHER
** 250' EXP received
** 300' Job EXP received

** 750' EXP received

OR
** 750' EXP received
** 250' EXP received
** 300' Job EXP received


If is killed by the homunculus only, client should show:
** 1000' EXP received



now, said monster is 10 levels above player's level (1400 exp / 1680 jexp)

If is killed by the player only, client should show:
** 1400' EXP received
** 1680' Job EXP received

If is killed by both player and homunculus (25% homun - 75% player), client should show:
EITHER
** 1050' EXP received
** 1260' Job EXP received

** 350' EXP received

OR
** 350' EXP received
** 1050' EXP received
** 1260' Job EXP received


If is killed by both player and homunculus (75% homun - 25% player), client should show:
EITHER
** 350' EXP received
** 420' Job EXP received

** 1050' EXP received

OR
** 1050' EXP received
** 350' EXP received
** 420' Job EXP received


If is killed by the homunculus only, client should show:
** 1400' EXP received


inacurrate because the homunculus' received EXP is unaffected by EXP bonus/penalty, and the client shows the EXP gained with the buff/nerf applied. Also when the homunculus co-kills with the player, player gains full EXP (i'm guessing with tap too) and the client shows splitted EXP, that's why the first time i saw this i thought the homunculus drained my EXP
