On a non-sarcastic note, I was under the impression that they always had three. I've probably not looted as many as other people but this is the first in at least a hundred of them that I see that...

 

So had me wondering if I got an unlucky bug or something, or if they simply can be like that.

off topic i had something weird happen with a high weapon box a few weeks ago where i opened it and the box just disappeared without giving me any weps at all. the item bar at the top of the screen that usually says 'you got X weapon/item/gear' didnt appear, checked inventory for both the box and a non identified wep but there was nothing. first and only time that ever happened.
