HOW CAN I RECOVER MY CHARACTERS?

Hello, 

 

I used to play ragnarok in 2009-2012 (more or less) since then, I haven't played it. Some time ago (maybe years) I recovered my account, but until today I'mm trying to play again, but when entering the game my characters aweren't there, will there be any way to recover them?

Greetings,

Welcome back.

 

First verify you are using the correct game ID for the appropriate client:

  • Log on your Warpportal master account [link].
  • After logging in, from the left panel click on Account Information.
  • Note the account ID and the type of the game ID.
    For Restart: xBc6xKA.png
    For Renewal/Classic: kgNYiTz.png
     
  • To use the Restart ID please use Ragnarok Restart game client [download link].
  • To use the Renewal/Classic ID please use the appropriate executable of the client [download link].
    Ragnarok.exe for Renewal
    ClassicRO.exe for Classic

 

If this does not resolves the issue, submit a support ticket addressed to Ragnarok Online - Account Recovery department. You will need to provide certain data to proceed with the recovery process.

To learn more please visit WP support article on this link. If you don't recall certain required information simply try to add any other information you find necessary, the staff will assist you accordingly.

What can I do to fix this error?

Cannot init d3d OR grf file has problem.}

See if the following resolves your issue:

  1. On your device, browse to Ragnarok game folder. Default location: C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Online, for Re:Start: C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Restart
  2. Find Setup_Classic.exe (If Playing on Classic) or Setup.exe (If Playing on Renewal/Restart) right-click the file, choose Properties, choose Compatibility tab.
  3. Under Compatibility tab tick Run this program as an administrator.
  4. Click Apply then Ok.
  5. Launch Setup_Classic or Setup.exe, adjust the video settings, Ok when done.
  6. Launch the game client.

If that didn't resolve the issue repeat the steps till #2, find and adjust the compatibility mode to WinXP SP2/3.

Also, switching between Windowed and full screen modes may return different results.

Is there anyway to recover the old characters from 2012 and beyond or not :x?

I will not be able to answer this properly as it may be specific to account ID status.

To inquire on account recovery, please write a ticket addressed to Warpportal GM staff.
