Emporia War Changes

"Pure Silence" Status Effect added after island selection
After selecting the target island (either because of being revived or by using the TAB key) a 3 second Pure Silence status effect has been added to the player. While this effect is running (visible by a yellow sphere around the player) the player cannot take any damage but also can't attack (this applies to the twin of the Twin Fighter and for the summons of the Summoner as well) and is not able to use any skill or item.

Small bug report that the progress of the earned point is not correctly showed, the 250 needed points is scaled to 100, like when we get 2,5 points it only show that the team gets 1 point instead. Intended or bug?

I would like to know if it's just bug or intended? Because it's annoying for not being able to see the correct point, we won't be able to calculate properly to know what we should do within the match.

Heirloom Bone Items Mini Drop Event

Not sure if there is a heirloom set or weapon for drakans but if there isn't, can there be a way for them to use these orange coins as well? I know that heirloom items are really old but a slightly different bone set for drakans included in this event could be fun to have in the game as well. Correct me if I am wrong and there is a heirloom set for this race as well but if not could it be taken into consideration? The orange coins will basically only benefit with gold instead of a gear for those classes.

Edit: Also, do you think that the Emporia shield can be abused with Summoners Poison guard or Sorcerers thunder cloud to hit the enemy while being immune to damage or will all damage be stopped from the player? I think that the area of effect spells can complete quests too so it would be nice if this was made clear. A mechanic like this will break the games for the week if a major exploit is found surrounding it.

Hello and thanks for the changes. I have a question: Does pure silence status effect make the player immune to skills like magnet, traps and stuns as well?

This visual issue is not intended - we are working on it.

The player having this status effect is completely immune while the effect is running.

Thanks for the answer.

And I got the same question as yuumikitsu, but thinking it wont be able to be abused if we don't camp at spawn. Though this kind of abuse shouldn't exist

will toggle skills like Bloody roar/Random shot be canceled with that pure silence buff? would be a huge disadvantage since bloody roar has a 30 second Cooldown

Those kind of skills don't find any target while the player is in the "silent" state therefore it can't attack anyone. In easy words: It's active but does not attack.

Skills aren't cancelled.

What about the drakan gear that I suggested? Do you think that there could be something for them as well in the event?

Why my comment got deleted?
Wasn't meant to be rude, just mentioned there was a mistake and it could have been confusing for some people.

Wasn't removed because someone thought you were rude. It has just been fixed and the comment was not necessary anymore. :)

Anyway thank you for pointing the mistake out. :)

Popcorn I have some questions
I have seen many players leave other groups to join others for emporia this week.
would not be bad?

I believe that those who do that should not participate in emporia for a while
is my humble opinion I do not know what others think

I think that if one is in a guild it is because of loyalty and not just for playing emporia every week

If you look at earlier patch notes you might notice that a person who is joining a guild has to be member of that newly joined guild for 3 weeks.

Patch Notes 2018/1/10:

New Participation Requirements
- a guild has to be at least Level 3 to apply for participation
- a guild has to be existing for at least 3 weeks to be allowed to participate
- a guild has to have at least 10 members to be allowed to participate
- a player has to be member of the participating guild for at least 3 weeks to be allowed to join the emporia battle

- I have a doubt
if it's 15 seconds to change island
with the buff of 3 that reduces to 12 seconds to be able to kill
or when the 3 second buff ends the 15 seconds count is counted

-  I hope there are good changes and that the mission of 10 points is lowered to at least 5 because many benefit by killing quickly making the missions not so important.

[...] because many benefit by killing quickly making the missions not so important.

It is, I would say, very much like large battleground PvP game modes to value eliminating as many opponents as possible more than, say, hit one of them with a ranged ability then go back to stalling.

Consider missions leftovers for the weaker ones; the strong finds her sustenance only in her opponents' flesh, her drink in their blood she sheds, and her fun in the slaughter she makes of the ones who challenge her.

Warrior! May your name strike fear into hearts, may your shield hold fast and strong!

Magician! May you cast relief onto our lands, may your arcanes subdue chaos!

Thief! May you whisper with the wind, may you dance to the end of times!

Archer! May you always light the path, may you destroy the evil!

Courage! Power! Selflessness! Gleefulness!

Prove on the battleground that you have them all, and so many more!

May the Dragotakan sing your praise and tell your feats!

Onward! To glory!

Do take this first paragraph metaphorically, pretty please. I do not indulge in any violent behaviour towards any living being nor do I plan to, and my most important wish is to at last free our societies from violence and misunderstanding. Thus:

Always respect your opponents, play nice, lend a hand, teach and learn.

Such is the true way of the warrior.
