• The next new Headgear quest, Sorin Doll Hat (Tier 3), is available. Speak to Frank in Morocc (who has his own tent at 118, 93). Certificates can be found in the treasure caches.
  • To create this headgear you'll need the following:
    • 300 Ectoplasm
    • 200 Fabric
    • 1 Spiritual Crystals (Phylla)
    • 1 Spiritual Crystals (Rhyncho)
    • 1 Hung Doll
    • 1000 Zeny
    • 1 Sorin Doll Hat Certificate

I certainly could select random zones and/or monsters, and perhaps I will. I also occasionally set spotlights in thematically appropriate areas for holidays and the like. That said, while your concerns are valid this is also a way for the community to have a voice in the selection for the most common ongoing event. However, perhaps I can mix it up with random months and survey months.

I checked it out, including in-game, and it seems to be functioning properly. Were you having an issue with it?

Technically, the spotlights are actually on the monsters, NOT the locations. When a location is selected I make a list of all eligible monsters that spawn there and give them the XP/Item boost. However, you do not need to ONLY hunt on those maps. Any of those monsters, no matter where they spawn, will give the XP/Item boost. The map(s) just gives the pool of monsters to be affected.
