Dear Warpportal,

 

Lately there's a lot of blatant cheating happening in WoE on restart. I'm not going to name any names and I'm not here to start drama. What I want to say is that I think that the GM team should monitor RE:START War of Emperium for a few WoEs. 

 

Cheats like nodelay/animation delete ruin WoE for everybody except the person using it. It creates uncounterable situations that are extremely unfun to deal with as a player.

 

Such things are very hard for us as players to report. We have to take time out from WoE itself and potentially let down our team mid combat in order to send a report of a player we may not even be able to highlight with our cursor (or without having to set up the situation directly so we can). Not only that but once it's happened, it's happened and changed the tide of the fight. Once the rewards of cheating are already reaped it feels pretty pointless to report. 

 

That's why it's important that the GM team take the time to monitor WoE proactively without relying 100% on reports.

WoE is the most competitive element in the game, and probably the only reason most players are still hanging onto a server as messed up as Odin. You cannot always expect players to set up recordings like this, that slow and reactive approach is what makes cheaters feel more confident because the consequences seem mild, or none.

They've not fixed it in Chaos, I wonder if they will do anything in Odin. Anyway, cheaters dont care to know that they're bad and they cheat to make up. It's up to you to start cheating too ( assuming that they dont get banned for cheating ) or just ignore it. I always killed cheaters all the time back when WoE was still a thing in Chaos

I am still getting trade requests in WoE to stop me from breaking or potting, but the people I've reported are still in WoE still doing the same -_-. It needs to be stopped.

It's funny how everyone knows which guild is meant in this thread. Still nothing is done against it.

Theres pretty much two guilds that abuse this openly without giving a single (And have been doing so for a long time).You guys know who you are. That arrow shower yesterday was by far the worst NDing ive ever seen. Normally players try to be sneaky about it. But that was just stupid and transparent. Machine gun BB knights with 1 agi and archer classes rocking the ak-47 with statuses.

You guys got rekt anyway.

But the sad thing is that the more this goes on the more ppl will start cheating. "But they do it, why cant we?".

 

Like Dunnow sad, its time to show that you have some kind of interest in this server.

Botters go unpunished, griefers go unpunished, cheaters go unpunished even when PROVEN guilty.
