now that I've got your attention please read this.

 

just some ideas about future events.

just read today's patch note about Valentine event being a bit dull since no progress has to show up.

maybe we can make up an event which has to be done by a couple.

by a couple, i mean party with only 2 members in it.

a specific dungeon that restricts a party up to 2 players and has a different gender.

kill things inside, collect stuff, and the stuff only tradeable inside the dungeon.

they have to collect the stuff for xx amount then trade it with a matching outfit, titles, etc. for rewards.

this type of event can also encourage people to socialize, help, or boost others to show how the game also care about the players.

 

Steps :

- Start Quest Valentine

NPC will give out a pair of item (wearable on costume glove slot) and command the players to give half of the pair to someone, (different gender).

the item will be bound after use and will be deleted if the party is disbanded. (this is the basic method but can be done by another method if anyone has any suggestion)

 

- Looking for partner

players will have to get a partner to be able to finish the first quest (by partying).

quest command: Find your partner (Make a party consists of 2 members (1/2 members)) -> talk to the quest giver to finish the quest.

 

- Couples in Trouble 

this is the start of dungeon thingy for the couple

this quest consists of:

1. Dungeon System

2. Party System

3. Buffs

4. Trading System

5. Reward System

6. Exchangeable Items

7. Daily Quest (can be done 3 ~ 5 times per day for each dungeon)

 

breakdown

 

1. Dungeon System

 

after accepting the quest in a party NPC will give out an option to choose dungeon mode :

 

- easy mode - ll stat & equip are standardized, buffed, more friendly for newbies. - lower rate for collectable stuff.

 

  • stat: set by default system.
  • gear: set by default system.
  • buff: special dungeon buff, gender buff.
  • monster: normal HP/Damage, monsters at level 25 ~ 30.
  • quest rewards: 1 xx item for each player.
  • some bosses might be able to drop gear at level 50

 

- normal mode - stat and equip based on current gear - normal rate for collectables stuff.

  • stat: set by the player.
  • gear: set by the player.
  • buff: gender buff.
  • monster: normal HP/Damage, gender damage buff/debuff, monsters at level 50.
  • quest rewards: 2 xx item for each player.

- hard mode - enemies will have higher hp/damage - higher rate for collectable stuff.

  • stat: set by the player.
  • gear: set by the player.
  • buff: gender buff.
  • monster: increased HP/Damage, gender damage buff/debuff, monsters at level 80.
  • quest rewards: 4 xx item for each player.

after selecting the dungeon the party will be teleported to the dungeon

by using gate system like jehoon's training site, the gate will only open after each player has the required item to pass through the gate

this is the first item that was given by the first NPC

all collectables are given out by NPC/quest giver. so higher levels and ability is a bonus stuff to exchange for something.

 

2. Party System

 

the dungeon only accepts a 2 player party. more than that the third person and so on can't come in.

 

3. Buffs

the buff will consist of 3 types

 

player buff

gender buff

monster buff

 

Player Buffs

Special Dungeon Buff :

(newbie friendly)

Combat Exp Rate increased by 1000%

Attack/Magic Power Increased by 50%

Reduce incoming damage by 70%

Stat Modifier: cap all stat at maximum level 50.

Equipment Modifier: Any Status From equipment is removed and changed by default to boost the base stat by 30%.

 

(balanced)

Attack/Magic Power increased by 100%

Final Damage increased by 75%

Reduce Incoming damage by 50%

Stat Modifier: cap all stat at maximum level 50

Equipment Modifier: Any Status From equipment is removed and changed by default to boost the base stat by 15%.

 

Gender Buff

Male :

Increase Physical/Magic Power by 10%

Increase def/parry/dodge by 5%

Reduce Incoming damage by 5%

increase threat generation by 300%

(new buff)

increase recovery abilities are given by female gender by 30%

 

Female :

Increase Physical/Magic Power by 5%

Increase def/parry/dodge by 15%

Reduce Incoming damage by 15%

(new buff)

increase recovery abilities by 30%

 

Monster Buff :

type 1

Increase def/parry/dodge when fighting male player.

Increase final damage to female player.

Healing ability.

 

type 2

Increase def/parry/dodge when fighting female player.

Increase final damage to male player.

Healing ability.

 

type 3

Increase def/parry/dodge when fighting male/female player (swappable).

Increase final damage to male/female player (swappable).

Healing ability.

Timebomb Ability (one shot kill)

 

type 4

30% chance to stun male players for 30 sec

increase damage taken by female players by 30%

5 sec invincibility.

 
type 5 (opposite of type 4)
 
type 6 and more are open to suggestions.
 
4. Trading System
 
Party Trade System :
only able to trade required item to a party member (might be buggy)
 
Inside Dungeon Trade System :
only able to trade required item inside dungeon. (also might be buggy)
 
5. Reward System
Dungeon Reward System :
The Collectable only obtainable after the last boss is killed, reward NPC will be inside the dungeon.
 
NPC Reward System :
The Collectable only obtainable after finishing the quest, Reward NPC will be outside the dungeon.
 
6. Exchangeable Items
Low tier rewards :
can be obtained by finishing easy mode dungeon 1~3 times
 
Mid tier rewards :
can be obtained by finishing normal mode dungeon 1~2 times
 
High tier rewards :
can be obtained by finishing hard mode dungeon 2~3 times
 
7. Daily Quests
 
Able to redo 3~5 times per day.
Normal Reset Times, or
00.00 Server Time Reset.
 
This is just a future event planning reference if wp needs a new idea.
hopefully, they implement it.
