What would be better for over all damage for swirling petals and kunai explosion on modified boots, Bear's Power or Hawk Eye?

Swirling Petal formula is..

(Base Damage + (100 * Throw Huuma Shuriken)) + Caster's AGI + Caster's DEX

Tossing aside the fact that Bear's Power only procs when you're attacked, and any good Kage/Obo is going to be using CSS, Strength is only going to contribute straight attack power while Hawk Eye's 200 Dex, which procs from practically everything you do, will modify Swirling Petal's damage by 200%.

200 dex is not a huge boost on the skill % of petals. It is a 1% flat added to the skill per point, and the skill already has a pretty generous base. BP will give more damage than that.
He asked what gives more damage, BP gives more damagem

I know this isn't the question but I figured I share my experience. For me personally BP was better because it activates when you're getting hit and I was getting hit a lot because I had my kagerou just tank the damage instead of kiting. So here's my suggestion if you're going to be kiting or using shadow clone then get HE because it activates when you attack, if you're going to tank then use BP because it activates when you get attacked.

Ninja specializes on dodging physical atks.. BP will give you enough dmg bec shuriken is a melee weapon. I dont imagine oboro and kagerou tanking strong monster.

Hawkeye will give you a good chance of procting 200 dex which will give a VERY GOOD DMG ON Kunai explosion and a decent dmg on swirling petals..

You decide, i tried it. Im hitting neutral eggs around 45k with only

E. Charms
+9 dancing petals
basic buffs
+9Wde proc
Golden scarf and suit combo
Mod tbdex 200 dex proc
No acc..

60 str only
120 dex

But your problem is sp.. any form of movement while on pure dmg will cancel the regen..

after the awakening patch ninjas can tank stuff pretty easily just with pure soul heal, the HP pool is pretty generous now.

I figured that would be the case, thanks Ash. You can tank well as a Ninja, the problem has always been one of HP.

Mirror Image + PS is easy tanking. You should easily be able to kill the mob by the end of PS.
