First things first, I don't really check the fb market and I don't really care about what happens there.

But my friends sometimes keep me posted on some random dramas involving scammers, accusations, racist comments, whatever...

 

What really brought my attention though are the screenshots below:

We can't verify the legitimacy of the screenshots as we can't tell whether they were taken on Chaos/Thor (doubtful) or some other server. Maybe the scammer just wasn't smart enough, who knows.

But then I start hearing some shady stories of how people can make these shoes although we still haven't received Nightmare OGH.

I don't know how exactly works (this is not a hack tutorial) But apparently, you make the shoes disappear (sell to the NPC, w/e) and file a ticket explaining that you can't find your item, hoping the GM's are dumb enough to give them back. So your new pair of shoes is now bugged (re-enchantable/slottable). Ok, this sounds really dumb, but the story is coming from many different sources and I thought maybe it is worth an investigation.

Yeah it is dumb, whoever played the trick deserve to be punished, but this doesn’t change the fact that WP was supposed to provide nightmare old glastheim update a long time ago. If you cannot deliver what your customers rightfully deserve, you will have to deal with such problems. I don’t do crazy things when I am desperate or fed up, but I won’t blame someone who does this.

But whatever the reason is, its about time that NOGH should come to iRO, its been so long overdue.

if you tell me it involves some GM restoration or something from their end for this to actually happen, i'd not doubt at all. I've seen first hand some of the -_- ups they can do

OP has been requested to delete the post by the same people who vouched for him/her. and yea I've seen GM's screwing up a lot of things, giving players an unfair advantage because of the mistakes they made. So I wouldn't be surprised if this is just another case.

It is and if GMs has no knowledge about the game it all comes down to social engineering. There are a lot of people who escaped bans it's the same as that pic. Remember 16.1?
