background: I have no RK so I have no idea.

 

How are these two new items doing?

Is the storm stone + peuz set the best/viable set-up for RKs without kiels and tao? Does it take too much slot (-0.5s fct and EA garment) that makes alternatives still better?

 

For Gelerdria, is wind cutter a viable leveling skill now the same way true seyren cards and bio 5 headgear makes IB good?

cheapest, not best.

Wind Cutter damage still kinda sucks, but you can use it as fillers between IBs.

Black Ribbon+Peuz Set+Gele & Storm makes the leveling with Wind Cutter posible but way slower than IB because WC is a 350% atk skill at level 5 and even with the equipment i mentioned to boost its damage in most cases 2-3 WC will be necesary to kill mobs. Avoid if posible or just IB mobs that are resistant to Wind like Holy 2+,Wind 2+ Shadow 2+.

 

I tried Nogg2 with a new RK using Wind Cutter (using +7 gele clean for now) and it was okay, 2 WC to kill mobs but as i can't use leeching gears because the set was necesary use extra potions.

So for non-tao/kiel DB RK, the 90+ % cd redux set-up still is better? (afaik, it's the one with FAW ea421, FLP, med scrub, etc.)

So is gelerdria and storm stone good for anything? By good I mean do they replace anything that has been the meta before this ocp?

Its the best weapon to put seyren cards into, and a good HS alternative.

even without storm stone its still better cause you can combo hundred spears with IB and gelerdria being spear you get drake eff when mounted so 100% damage vs all monster sizes.

Very good but you need hp/sp boosting equips. You also need to be aware of the boots swap to get the acd effect.

i wonder if you can still achieve that buff without the set ? i mean if you do boot switching?

 

like set + aura blade + switch (10 second gap?) + dragon's breath? to achieve no cast no delay effect?

In my opinion the only thing "good" about this set, is the acd effect.

It is probably best used at 175 because at lower levels you're damage is going to suck.

I got the set but I do not have the patience to be swapping every 10 seconds. So I don't really use it.

Yes it is. I would just write a macro which does the whole swap cycle and either activate it on hotkey (mouse macro) for single use or enable/disable for 10-sec loopbacks.

it’s REALLY bad. If you had this long a cast time, you would be wasting a lot of damage potential. Think this way: rk fixed delay 0.2 second, cast time 0.5 sec, some random animation =0.1-0.3.
You might be doing only one db a second due to this.

Compare that to no cast and 90% cast delay, cast 4 times a second. It’s 4x the dps compared to the top part.

RK db is all about spam. no spam means no dps. Only if you can spam then you add on more damage per cast.

i wonder if wind cutter is fairly reliable since it casts fear (cant move for 2 second)

Imo wind cutter has only uses if you level with IB and want to negate dmg by pushing them away. 

The damage however is neglectable.
