Gonna be reaching 99 on my sin in a few days, wanna plan ahead on what imma do wif it.

I wanna build a crit sinx that can pvm well and also do some solo mvping (if possible). So, shud i go nat crit or equip crit. Ive done some renewal reading and seen that adding luk at higher levels is now actually better than adding str... so...

If nat crit, what kinda stats wud be recommended?

And also if equip crit, wat kinda equips shud i hav?

Im not really rich, currently on my sin i only hav a +7 3xcrit jur, 2x kobold belts and eden gears. Could afford a full clean morriganes if i nid it.

Also, any guidelines on skill builds, i guess being a crit sinx my normal hits deal the most dps already, but mayb SB, SD, meteor, grim could help in some mvp situations? or not...

ps: thers no way ill be able to afford stuff like paper card, rogue treasures, mobster card, etc... not for a long long time.

When you go Sinx, I think your equip works fine if you had around 40-50 luk, but not to over spend on it.
Morriganes are a joke, if you ever planed on that. There are better way to reach 90-100 crit with more useful accessories and garment. (unless you are a perfect dodger)

I think at 9x, 70+ str, 60+ dex, 91 agi, 41 luk, 11vit should do what you want.
I don't think early 110+ agi will do any good, you have another 51 levels to add it up.
I suggest that you must keep your agi around 90 and spend more on str and luk to maximise your damage.
Still without the luk you can still reach 76 crit on your katar.
If you ever plan to use skills; natural crit build is a very bad idea. Ideally luk purpose in your build will be purely to rise damage, crit rate by 10-20%

thx for replying.

I used a stat calc (probably prerenewal) juz to get some kind of idea of what its gonn be like.
at 99, id hav str 89+11, agi 90+20, vit 27+3, int 6, dex 20+10, luk 42+8. Along with the 3x SSC and 2x Kobolds, i guess my crit rate wud be in the 8x/9x.

In ur build, 60+dex? i thought crit nvr miss and therfore I will not nid dex cept for my thief lvls. And 11 vit? u sure i can solo the nubbier mvps wif that?

Also, gears wise, what kinda stuff shud i get? undershirt+pantie combo any good for mvps? And my katar, do i juz stick wif the 3x SSC or wud i hav to change to race/ele carded weaps?


edit: after doing a lil more reading, mayb a SB sinx would be awsome aswell? 1hit kills in pvm and edp+SB for mvps? Would a SB sinx be better in pvm or mvp?

Well I got back after quite the vacation from RO but from what I have read if you want to be a nat crit type then you dont really need as much dex as you normally would because crits always hit. If you are going for equip crit I think Morrigane's set is good. I have Morrigane's belt and Pendant with only 30 luk on my 75 assassin and I crit almost 70 - 80% of the time. Im still working on getting more crit though.

Well in renewal.. the lvl of ur weapon matters. A jur with 3x SS card is not as good as using other lvl 4 katars with other ways of getting crit. Morrigane is not THAT good.. but as to start out its very nice. If u have the morri set with 40-50 luk thats fine as of crit. Dont waste SS cards on a lvl 2 jur.. Dex is not NEEDED.. but no dex at all will hurt u later when u need to use skills hahaha. Elemental katars are ideal for differnt types of monsters u r fighting.

Skill wise, it all depends on what you want. lvl 10 SD is still okay with 1 int. Meteor assault is not very good as GX has better mobbing skills. Sonic blow is needed regardless for ur future skills. i mean.. you want cross impact rite? lol. if u got other questions just PM me here

You will need dex for your CI, otherwise CI is pointless lol.

Why does the weapon level matter? I know you get like +3, +4, and +5 damage with upgrades, I think I heard it ignores defense? How is that calculated? And is it still important if using SD?
