Specifically for biolab monster with low mdef (10-15mdef)

Thanks!

Any, because the zeny cost of the zakudams alone is enough to get a very high refined kvm.

Dont use zakudams on classes that can wield kvm staves. (except niche exceptions like La'cryma, etc)

^ as he mention. sometimes it must be over +10 to really improve the dmg. tested +9 Bellum Arc Wand vs +9 GSoD on PVP/GvG, Bellum deals almost the same or a bit more. over +10, the KVM shines. Take a note: wearing GSoD means no shield. If you cant take the dmg and survive, better wear a shield and something like la' cryma combo to empower the mdef bypass (bio3/bio4/bio5) or crimson + shield (bio1/bio2). you dont mention wich biolab floor you are aiming. On party you have more options.

Bio 3 and 4, but mostly bio 3 because we hate Celia

So, an +14 GSoD would do much more damage -to even low mdef mobs of bio like Cecils-, than an +15 Crimson Rod with 2 Zakudam?

Yes. you are comparing a Lv3 weapon vs Lv4 Weapon. Even with the plus per refine on crimson, GSoD still do better damage. Remember Lv4 gets more matk per refine. I tested +13 GSoD vs +14 Crimson Rod (no cards), the KVM deals even more due to destruction Lv1, wich makes sense when you are fighting against high MDEF (piercing MDEF) and low MDEF (base MATK plus MATK% additional). I have not tested the double zakudam, as Ashu says, its too expensive. And not all the mobs are demi-human. You have to face demons too.

Put zakudam cards on lacryma stick if you have these, since it’s the default for you in bio 5(assuming you are a WL who has waterball and pororoca shoes). GDS is great in bio 4 and GMT instance, though I hardly find it useful in bio 5 myself.

The only valid use for GDS in bio5 is wearing a holy armor and face Randel/Margaretha. Your Hell Inferno will deal a good damage with a KVM to holy monsters. The second use might be tetra vortex with this. If you can not afford pororoca shoes + high refined La' cryma, GDS makes the job via tetra vortex build. You can deal over the half dmg with the proper element to those mobs. Tested.
