Hey guys,


i just want to ask, if a Soul Destroyer build have any chances to survive on a RENEWAL server.

I got an idea what Kind of statpoints i want to have.

High Str
High Int
Mid Dex
Mid Vit


The question is, if this build would work on the server as well. I mean for pvm that should be ok with the right eq but in woe i dont really know, because the dmg formula is different to classic Servers.

Do you have some informations for me?

I thought Soul Destroyer is Str/Int based

atk/matk. not str/int. But trying to scale matk is worthless, and getting agi for aspd gives better spam while on strings.

I use to main a soul destroyer sinx and the numbers ive seen in a stat calc for renewal always kept me from bothering to try one.  Stat calcs are showing much much less dmg compared to classic.  I honestly wouldn't get your hopes up or even bother trying it.  Calc are showing pathetically low dmg for SD on targets even when having the proper element.  Throw in the fact people can reduce the dmg with poo/cranial/alligator cards and you will be doing half inside pvp.  Sadly SD is trash in renewal and its a shame, was so fun in classic.

calc.irowiki damage calculation is wrong, and SD on renewal is stronger than ever.

Did you factor in using Magnum break, aloevera, EDP and using elemental swords/IP?? cuz I tell ya.. Renewal SD seems a bit OP

Ice Pick doesnt work with Soul Destroyer. The skill already "ignores" DEF and MDEF.
