What's the fastest way to make a new priest solo? Is it even possible to make one as easy as leveling dps classes up to level 99/70?

fastest way solo would be autocast build (meteor storm one), which can be tricky on the later levels, i usually solo until lvl 92 and then i leech myself with other character.

magnum break and ok/good atk gears until harpies. ME on harpies afterwards

Well the Dark Lord set-up may be a bit expensive. Not to mention the hassle when trading it. How much is it anyway and what other gears go with it?
 

For ME priest, do you just tank harpies while casting ME? And should I just go full cast-redux or damage?

both. and yes you have to tank them a little bit, ME is not instant.

Early level  => Use high atk Mace    w/ Earth Deleter Armor 

               + Marine Sphere card on Clip or any accessory that you can wear as Lv. 1     leveling with Magnum Break 

                       

  after reach high level enough   being  ME build and go Harpy or if Low Ti  have  Undead / Demon only

 or Glast Heim  (Evil Druid , Wraith , Dark Priest)

 

or if you want Auto cast after that 

 

 +9 / +10 Lunar Rainbow  (Req Lv. 80+)   +  cards combo on Valk Hammer  / Crimson Rod or any good MATK rod 

(if it's 2 slots  Recommend Hill wind and Pitman  for auto cast ThunderStorm and Heaven Drive) 

 

+ CD in mouth (later replace with Mob Scarf as Lv. 100 AB)   + Any reflect gear for extra proc chance

the fun part of autocast priest is that it can stack high amounts of demon & undead resistance i remember tanking harpies like nothing (except from the wind attacks )

last play RO is pre-renewal, when it come to priest leveling I just thinking heal undead 24/7 haha.

Decent ME gears for harpies are cheap, most can be farmed from ET. So this is my go-to route when leveling an AB.

Can crit-priest also level with ME? or do you have to have a lot of dex for it to be a viable leveling method?

Your heal amount will be higher than other classes, so you can run an auto cast build with the right reductions (Race or Neutral resist). As for damage, even a single CD would do quite a lot. Yellow and Red Novuses have high attack speed and few dangerous skills, and are great for auto cast builds.

Lvl 1-50 use mercenary
Lvl 51-70 use mercenary or goes heal bomb
Lvl 70-99 use ME with spiritual ring set and holy stick set on GH.
