Hello Guys,

 

Quick question about Rodex, have any of you experienced missing mails when moving staff between accounts? Specifically when sending multiple mails between the same chars.

 

The system has been quite reliable for me until now, when out of the blue a full set of shadow gear went lost in the limbo. Sent support ticket already but wandering if any of you has already experienced this in the past.

 

Maybe gotta go back to the old and reliable multiclient deal for important stuff, would rather avoid it if possible...

Yes. RODex ate my Flattery Robe and Crimson Rod before. I sent a ticket, then got the items back.

Happens to me with bio5 loots, I was sending to all participands and something like "the mail can not be send" or something like that, the items didnt come back to my inventory and the person didnt received. too lazy to send a ticket, so I just give him my part xD Since then, I only send not so important items by rodex

A bit creepy as I sometimes don't really check when doing mass mails. May have had some losses but I probably didn't notice since they were mostly cheap consumables. Possible losses nonetheless.

 

I'll be sure to be a bit more vigilant from now on. Thanks.

Rodex has a couple bugs;

some characters experience the mail notification when there is no mail (potentially expired mail exists)

Sometimes characters get bugged and can only send 2 mails on a day instead of 300 (not sure of cause)

Dissappearing items (not sure of cause)

there is a sure cause about disappearing items, i have done several test regarding that

 

i noticed this when Rodex ate my faws that i was planning to send to my merch to sell.

so , this is only one cause, idk what are the rest

 

sum it up, from 4 tests i have done before, Rodex ate all the items,

this happened because you close your client immediately after sending email

sometimes i open a new client and login my alt to send me some items then close the client

but on that day, i do that too fast, there should be gap between that, i guess the safer way to go to character screen then close the client.

 

what really happened on those tests :

 

i opened client then send some misc items to my character, by the time i pressed send button, i pressed ALT+F4 to close the client immediately , then i went to relogin that character, the item disappeared in inventory but i didnt find the rodexed items as well on the other character, just to make sure i tried to do that 4 times, and all of them were gone

 

well, this is also my bad habit, cause i do that sometimes

login alt, send the stuff, and immediately alt+f4 the alt client cause i dont need it anymore.

Just want to follow up, GM aware that rodex will eat your items?

Will fix in future or no? Or should inform people about using rodex with cautions?

13 days and still not able to retrieve my item!

mamagochi, Rodex being a jerk sometimes and yes there is a chance of items getting lost when mailing.

The trigger is unknown so far.

 

The GM staff do offer items restoration and it's handled on case by case basis however.

As for your pending ticket, as I have explained in the PM, the restoration would take more time for your case >_<

Feedback for the sake of science:
 

  • 09 of March, Rodex wiwi
  • Around 1 week invested with supportive and polite WP Ticket Team, guessing additional items lost in the transaction. I didnt put much attention to rodex transactions in the first place, cause system was reliable... or so I thought.
  • Around 1 week invested waiting for the item due to technical issues at WP team side. Either not able to reconstruct the items, not able to release them, not having enough manpower. No point in wandering.
  • To date still waiting for a resolution.

Piece of advice for WP: if RODEX do has glitches, this should be more visibly stated somewhere in-game or at least in forums. Dont let people find it in the wrong way.

Piece of advice for fellow players: you can opt to only send minor things over Rodex to be on the safe side. Or good luck waiting for weeks to get your stuff back.

Worried about bugs in game? Imaginary Insert picture of DJ Khaled, shouting another one and enjoy.

March 12th opened ticket. Lost my +12 DR FAW.

 

March 26th still no action.

 

GM replied with "Technical issue" as well. Will not give you a definite time of solution. 

 

@CAMPITOR, ARE YOU THERE TO HELP!?!?!?!

What exactly is the technical issue???? Is it one of those "PENDING issue" that eventually will lead to no where?

 

Please don't leave us hanging man, if WP cannot provide the fix, I will accept faith and acquire the item in game.

Hello,

Your ticket is still pending, kindly be patient for GM's response.

 

 

On topic, due to technical issues, handling restoration requests with Rodex will take time.

More about it is found in Campitor post quoted below.

 

- "Statement Regarding Other Issues:

As you may have noticed ticket resolution times have been getting slower for the last month. Unfortunately this is due to our need to audit everything capable of editing game data in a manner outside normal play. The GMs will be spending this week catching up on tickets. There may be a period where they can offer very limited support for tickets due to these audits again in the future."

Thats useful in terms of information but noy very optimistic in terms of their capacity to serve in the future.

You may want to consider a Sticky note to inform players about Rodex erratic behavior. It will save frustrations both for users and ticket staff.

In the meanwhile I will limit its use.
