March 13, OCP Sakray Test Results

Below is a list of what some players found to not be working correctly in Sakray (Credit to Silver, Nirvanna, and Zayaan). 
 
1) Antonio Suit -- the 100% Critical Slash is not working to reduce damage from the monster skill from the same name
 
2) The Perverse Mask of Obscenity is force-equipping to the left slot (left on the window) when it is the right slot in jRO
 
So this one needs to be checked on. Nirvanna dug up this jRO description regarding it, which seems to imply it's slot specific:

3) The Valkyrie Drop is not reducing Oratio's fixed cast time by 100% (wearing 2 does not give instacast, and even with instacast from stats, there is a cast bear leaving us to believe it's only applying 50% fixed cast time reduction)

 

Addendum: Valkyrie Drop is also not giving 'Odin's Power level 2' when Impositio Manus is maxed out.

The Abyss Dress and Gray Wing Boots are working correctly. The other effects of the above items are working correctly, too.

You sure thats not intended like in bRO i hear they can wear 2 magician gloves but of course its only like 20% mdef bypass each does the mask give full effects?

in jRO you can wear 2 Magician Gloves, its not limited to what slot or which slot.

 

it was just IRO Customization

Not sure, I think it needs to be checked either way since it doesn't match what we _expected_ or what we can see in Silvianna's video. 

 

Being able to equip two would be... well... interesting, let's say.

jRO can equip together the mask and bsg/glove so mask being equipable on the left should already.be the fix of it. A way also to not totally outclass the bsg/glove

Yes, it seemed to be working correctly for the other effects.

Mask slot is Forced Left accessory, Right on the window, not left.

similar with how we say Offhand weapon, it is Left handed weapon but Right on the window

The "fix" would depend if what they want to "fix".

1. Being able to equip it together with BSG/Magi Gloves

2. Put it on the right accessory WINDOW

 

AFAIK, it doesn't matter where the slot is as far as jRO is concerned, what we only need is to not to be able to use 2 MASK w/c is the purpose one why it is equip able on only one slot. NOT to restrict it from using together with BSG / Magi Gloves

I think the point here is that it is supposed to be a substitute for blacksmith/magician gloves rather than a complement, otherwise it may be too easy to achieve 100% DEF/MDEF piercing if you stack it together with the gloves. I am not sure what the intention is though, just my 2 cents.

True, but that's the intention of the "minority" here rather the intention on how the item was designed from its origin.

I am for it being right slot only, but namely because the mask is not the best in slot accessory that replaces BSG or Magician's Glove in a lot of cases. Oboro/Kagerou for example would not use it over a Magician's Glove (in fact they might arguably not even use that) when magic based. Warlocks would not use this over a Magician's Glove, because it would cost them far too many stat points in Str (which is not that great for a Warlock when they really need AGI for a lot of end game builds to be able to spam). The mask IS however great for Sorcerer, because they can afford to put 108 points in Str and still retain everything they need to play at optimum capacity, and 90% bypass is by no means something to snuff your nose at when at 88% the terrible monster MDEF melts away to the point of increasing damage rather than minimalising loss.

 

When you compare this to BSG, it's a no brainer. BSG was designed to supply bypass effects, yes. But what really makes it stand out is 10% delay reduction, which is really good for an accessory with a slot.

 

Let's not forget the last piece of both puzzles. The mask bypasses only monster defenses, not players; so again, this is something that also adds to the concept of BSG/Magician's Glove not being made redundant after these release.

But hey, FAS is spammable as well and it cant go MISS  :heh:

 

im sure with some setup, its possible to get at least 800k, lets try that later!!

Fair enough, as for rarity, I wouldn't concern myself with that. It will flood the market and undercutting will happen a lot.

Don't underestimate even Thor, after testing those items, it's a fact that the Abyss Dress is the jewel everyone will want. WP will most likely make this beast it's rarest item and probably at an absurdly low rate (I am thinking lower than Mob Scarf). People and their extended families will want it bad and by proxy, every other item will be in excess.

even in bRO.

 

Every server handles them differently, jRO let's you equip 2x full effect, bRO let's you equip 2x half effect.
