I want to level a merchant and I can't remember what a good weapon is that could go from novice to merchant. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Any npc that sells weapon,for example in prontera armory.

That's very kind of you and I do appreciate it. I do however have a level 129 DB RK and I haven't played much in about 5-6 months. I didn't level up too many characters until recently and I couldn't remember what kind of weapon I used to level up. I just stuck to purchasing a main gauche for novice and stuck with the novice axe that my new characters used (merchant is the class). I currently do not need any new weapons but thank you anyway.

Ah, NP. 

 

If you are looking for something intermediate, then just NPC sold weapons will usually do the trick (often based on what you can use for your base level).

Once you hit base level 70+ you can switch to a crimson mace or crimson two-handed axe if you prefer, those are very good and can be re-used when you rebirth.

Have a Main Gauche with Zipper/Andre cards, or even an Orc Axe with those cards, whatever works. Most importantly, a Blast clip/Cart Revo ti level as a merchant.

+9 cat club ;p lv1 equips on novice and merchant have decent base atk and 3 slots, best low lvl weapon imo.

eden equipment quests gives you a free weapon

 

nothing can beat that one until you get to lvl 70

 

invest on all elemental crimson two handed axe / sabre / mace ( i prefer mace cause of size modifier and you can wear a shield)

 

but then max mammonite and get your str to 90 asap and 1 hit anything in your way good luck fellow merchant

Believe it or not, I have not used mammonite in all of my merchants lol. Pure cart revolutionary only.

Currently leveling my alche and I can't one shot harpies with +14 crimson mace (earth), faw fs16, shackles and pretzel buff. any suggestions?

Max the car with heavy stuff and use earth converters

As stated, it's already earth elem. I'm using endow quake. Cart weight is a no brainer so it's a given.

Using demon or wind-ele cards on it? 

 

Conversely, don't use a crimson mace -- switch to a 2-handed axe (HuFu/Crimson/Giant-axe).

nope. it's a beholder mace from my gene. 

i have a giant axe for leveling biochemists. can't be equipped by non-trans classes. guess I'll just look for a mandragora card and crimson axe or vet axe

If you're willing, could decard it and recard it later. 

 

Or just cast twice Cart Revo is pretty spammy

are you serious? my supernovice 1 shots harpy with mammonite

 

90 str, shackle set, +7 crimson mace earth with 2 mandragora cards 0.0 no other means of added atk but this
