If you would still do it again, then I applaud for your courage to do so.   For me, I am traumatized after this and will never do this again (i.e. using crazy amount of KP to buy OCP boxes).

Yeah I thought there was no way I could get 0 Abyss Dress, but it happened anyways. My anger went away, but my ego did take a huge hit in terms of being able to get any future S-class item (which going forward I will just buy the S-class item with zeny instead of opening a retarded amount of boxes).

I hope my bad luck doesn't happen to anyone else who opened a lot of boxes because I would think this would make any new player (with disposable funds to spend) rage quit too early in the game. We need people to stay, not leave this game because of terrible RNG.

Been there with mobscarf. My friendly input. Wait and sell patiently what you got. And I mean sell every single item at the right time.

Watch out for boxterception, let luckier people than you to do that. You will make your zenny back if you are diligent.

Ask WP to delock Job Manuals for sale. Because there is no need to have them locked in the first place and this box is giving them in droves.

Each box is a separate chance anyway. A friend opened 100 box at one go, 4 Dress Zero Mask  . He was so annoyed he traded the Abyss for a Mask.

 

But psychologically, yeah I divided my chance.

The chance to get abyss dress is less than 1%, so it’s pefectly normal to open 100 or even 200 boxes without getting it. This rate is significantly lower than any other S class items ever arrived in OCP. There is a reason why S class items were sold at 2-3b in the past, while abyss dress is 4-6b.

With all being said, only 1 PDM out of 111 box is clearly terrible RNG, I got 4 from 80 boxes. But it happens, someone spent 3000 HD cranium to make +14 old Midas, while others have spent 10b worth of cursed fragments and failed to get magic essence.

You know I'm not. 20k wpe since 14th March so 80 box there + 33 boxter. Inclusive of ingame purchase of mini glasses.....    All via zeny anyway.

 

I won't complain to RNG. I have my fair share of good and bad RNG. Like +13 3 items in 15 ores. (From +10) and other ingame rng.

 

Just sharing and maybe pass some salt.
