Does poison bottle reduce your exp outside town?

^yeah it does. Seems like saving at Kafra outside Prontera Culverts and popping a few dozen Amulets is more popular and cheaper though.
As for reducing actual EXP gained through kills, I haven't ever heard of anything other that guild tax. Well.. letting VIP run out, I guess.

poison bottle doesn't reduce your exp, dying reduces your exp, the poison is just a tool for it.
