i saw in the post on ragnarok 2018 that we will need 94m to 174 and 110m to 175

i beated for days to get 175 level,and after update 175 leveling will be a joke?

Its to prepare for the upcoming awakening system and new 185 level cap, so a reduction in EXP needed for pre-awakening levels is not a bad idea at all.

dude ure over 10 years late for this kinda bullcrap, getting to 175 now is piss easy compared to how it was 15 years ago and even then it was a retarded habbit to be like "Ive worked so hard, everyone has to work as hard as I did 4 ev0r!!11". WoW adjusted their exp, every relevant MMO with updates does it, holy crap.

This... I agree with you, I honestly dont have time to grind my chars unless there is EXP event. Its necessary for some ppls to understand that the demographics of RO has changed, back in 2000s it had mostly teenagers who could spend hours a day just to grind their chars. Nowadays, RO is an old game with mostly veterans from 20-30 age range. Most of us cannot spend 5-8 hrs a day to grind, for some ppls even 1 hr is a luxury. Solo-leveling is especially boring, would be a lot better if ppls actively form and engage in parties, but then you face a different problem that some classes are more desirable in parties than other classes.

Exaclty. When I started playing I was able to play 6+ hours a day, now if I manage to play more than 2 hours the same day (on weekdays), I consider myself lucky.

If you really consider, the entire game is boring atm and that's why it keep losing players in every region.

it took me like 2.5 months to 175 20 chars,now people can 175 20 chars in a week,there is a BIG difference!

 

not to mention the investment in Bmx3 will be like 1/10 th?

As long as they puppy up the mobs exp,i am good with it! 
This will be another massive QUIT episode when renewal came,which i doubt this server at its present state can survive!

On a side note, that's pretty amazing to me.

 

I'd be happy if I were to get one 175 per month by playing 2 hours a day. Took me a 5 days to go from 135 to 145 with VIP and that's with miming and incantation morroc golem in TI.

No matter how fast someone else is able to level, they will never get 175 before you if you're already there. Literally makes 0 difference. Its not like you can get "buyer's remorse" for leveling speed. New 175's aren't stronger than old 175's.

i love when people say "new player" expecting actual new players in the game XD.

I got 175 once during 3x and ill never attempt to do it again, didn't even got job 60, when you spend the time you would spend leveling 4 characters to 150 only to get from 150 to 175 its absolute BS.

What’s the point of so many characters if you won’t have time to make use of each one to the fullest? I see each character as an access to more instances and fun but if you won’t have time for it what’s the point of wasting time to make so many. At most i need 3-4 characters to fully utilize my own available time on worthwhile instances and dailies. I can only play like 1-2 hours a day tops on weekdays. I still make a -_- ton of zeny on these characters

Now, why would a newbie want 20?
