Since my post hasn't been heard in the April 4th Maint. Patch notes here is my take on the current changes.

 

  • EXP has been drastically changed to where you cannot get good exp per/hr - Max I have gotten without BM is around 6 Mil/HR on Killing Banshee Masters, Fanat, Aunoe, and Beholder Masters. I don't bother to kill necromancers. More on that later.
  • From what I gathered some Monster like Banshee Master, and Aunoe have had there HP changed to about half of what they originally had.
  • Blue Banshee's are now doing more damage than they originally were with there normal attacks. From what I remember there average damage to my LK was between 750-900, and now after the update the do anywhere from 1000-1450 damage per normal attack. Was this intended?
  • Necromancers exp gain has changed SO DRASTICALLY they are not even worth your time or effort. There skills have not been reduced meaning they still do the same damage, and cast time hasn't changed. Nothing has been changed to show the current worth of what they currently give for EXP.

I am still working towards completing the bounty boards to see if this is a viable option but its not looking or making me feel too good about leveling there. With the current EXP per hour that I get with the amount of resources that are needed to be used its not a viable place to even consider any more. We are back to old Lunia GD, Valk GD, Bio2, Bio3, Spinx 4, and maybe Abbyss as the only viable area's to gain decent EXP.

This is how we felt when Juno gd got nerfed. At least u guys in valf gd had the benefit of the exp event before the nerf though

I think changing monster skill properties is too hard for them to balance (they don't know how) isn't that a recurring problem?

It's funny, had they just left everything as is, except abyss, abyss needed some love....we would be back to 2 ppl crying about exp on forums instead of many

jupe ist even more brokenererer, but well it was always pointless to adjust exp to hp, this basicly is leaving out anykind of game balancing ,game mechanic, player skill , equip ... or in short everything you might want to actualy balancing anything around game theory 101...

Long story short you had grown men crying about a guild dungeon being nerfed in nidhogg.

 

They could of simply prioritized getting a Valkfreyja Castle to have access to a strong guild dungeon, but instead decided to complain about the other guild dungeon resulting in both getting nerfed.

 

 

At this point I'm ok with both dungeons being nerfed in there current state, because it reflects the community as a whole. The game in its current state shouldn't be taken to seriously.

 

The game is 17 years old, who cares anymore, but I do find the hilariousness of grown people arguing over such things in an online game such as this, go raise your kids or something, or step outside for a while.

I'm mostly mad about the necromancer nerf because nameless island is my favourite map in the game. 

 

You can't base all exp around hp. There's so much else to consider, like skills. For example if campitor comes along and says "we'll increase spawn to make up for the lesser exp" that means you have to tank 2+ necromancers? And I for one would love to see campitor play the game and try and manage that. 

 

Monster skills and stats should be a primary focus when setting the exp. Also if you reduce the hp doesn't make the AI harder? Surely the lesser hp and the way AI works using skills at different HP % will make them cycle their AI faster? How is that balanced? 

 

I dare campitor to apply the same hp:Exp nonsense to bio3. I freaking dare you.

i'm assuming they nerfed the exp to encourage people to party together and make up the exp via the hunting board quests (instead of just leeching characters)? if so, pretty stupid. if not, disregard

they put hunting board in GD same day they make them useless for exp. The only meaning of GD now is for the drop like in every other server. They said "we want people to fight for turn in team vs team" but actually you have like 5 people a day in GD SE because they are useless for party only solo drop.

I did the Banshee Master hunting board quest to kill 300 of them. Here are the results at lvl 97 Trans with no BM, and VIP.

This gave me around 4%. While killing without BM got around 3% in 3 hours.

 

Really not worth any of your time at this point.

I get it, you're trolling, Haha. Moving on. I had a post removed that stated that I agreed that the Juno GD nerf was also too much and its most likely needs a buff as well. I think we can agree that Juno GD needs its EXP to be changed again to give better exp as well.

they shuld have kept the original table before trans release, multiply by 3, then put no exp event or turn in, and disable kafra shop/sv/vip buffs.. then watch ppl cry, cuz that would be more fun

if the changes were actually made to encourage partying, why don't you just tell anyone from australia + nz to -_- off already. unless it's a weekend, there's no chance of getting a party at our peak time
