I was trying to achieve instant cast through VCT reduction gears/cards, not from stats. If you read my earlier post, my calculation shows I have stacked up 100% VCT reduction, but it seems that it doesnt. I wonder if my calculation is wrong, or at least 1 VCT reduction gear is bugged.
 

 

Because Seraphim Coronet is +4% and +6% cast time at 108 and 120 Int respectively according to the jRO description, which, in all likelihood, is more accurate than iRO's description.

 

Either way, there is no reason not to use +20 Int food where instant cast actually matters, and where it doesn't matter, just deal with it.

Without the 8% VCT reduction from Seraphim Set I cant get instant cast, still 6% left even if I upgrade bio 5 hat to +14. Unless they consider it a bug and will fix it in future, I will have to find another way to get rid of this 8% VCT then.

EA+Spell FAW, since you're content with sacrificing damage for cast time.

I see, so its possible to enchant FAW with 2 EA and 1 Spell, will give a try and see how it works. I may also switch the other Sapphire Wrist with Imperial Gloves, giving up 10 INT for -10% VCT and 5% ATK. Will test and compare the DPS with these two options, I hope they will fix the Seraphim Coronet's bug though(or at least fix the description so it wont confuse others).

whats the reasoning behind the gear set up? you have plenty of int and dex already, very near instacast. You are spending bazillions just to get rid of 0.07s of cast time? That vct set up wont do you any good when you get slow casted lvl 100.

 

as someone else mentioned, you can just swap those bee cards for zerom cards or get some dex enchants on your midas or use a cheap dex gfss if you dont wanna rng. 

oh and for those in need of that last few stats, joining the arc wand clan gives you 1 int and dex

Possibly trying to find a use for the Beelzebub Cards since he already has them. They're pretty useless outside of WoE and if one has no intention of selling a rare item that they own, they will usually try to find a 'good' use for it.

 

Even though the best option here is to get 3 more base Dex and a +9 Dexterous Shadow Armor, assuming that isn't already being used. Hell, could even be 121 Int and Dex rather than 123 Dex if Creative Convention Hat and +1 Dex mid costume aren't in play either.

Sacrificing so much damage gears for % cast time reductions. Your damage *may* be better off using cylinder with full damage gears.

Yeah man I think it's worth just dropping the bee cards and going with zeroms. They're very good in a few very select instances but on a gene with 120 base int/dex, it's definitely not one of them. Variable cast time reduction shines the less int/dex you have and gets diminishing returns the more you have, and you have damn near the maximum.

Using Improve Concentration via Abusive Robe, you can reach enough DEX for instant cast I believe.

I can instant cast through stats without food if I wear flattery dex robe with AB’s skill buff, won’t be possible if I wear Abyss Dress without AB buffing my Gene.

I can get insta cast with eden buff alone, or improve concentration from Abusive. both works.

 

You gotta sacrifice stuffs like slotting in zerom cards and using dex armor/weapon int pendant/earring or getting int/dex on your Midas.

 

So you don't really need a Dex Flattery robe. 

This makes things easier so I can still have instacast while using EDA and Abyss
