Hi All!

 

I was talking with Fuyuki about a few things, and eventually we decided to make a proposal in relation to the Rockridge Sets.

 

The idea would be to make two new items from the existing Rockridge costumes of the same variety; the Black Cowboy Hat and Cactus Flower Corsage.

 

The idea of this proposal is to enable builds through the existing sets and extending the sets with the hat, much like how many jRO items have worked.

 

Both hats would have the same specs.

 

Cactus Flower Corsage [1]

 

A corsage shaped like a cactus flower. It's as beautiful as a real one.
Class: Headgear
Position: Upper
Defense: 18
Weight: 10
Required Level: 100
Required Jobs: All Jobs
All Stats + 2

Increases the experience given from monsters by 10%.

If upgrade level is +7 or higher,

Atk + 5%

Matk + 5%

 

Black Cowboy Hat [1]

 

A black cowboy hat notoriously worn by western villains.
Class: Headgear
Position: Upper
Defense: 18
Weight: 10
Required Level: 100
Required Jobs: All Jobs
All Stats + 2

Increases the experience given from monsters by 10%.

If upgrade level is +7 or higher,

Atk + 5%

Matk + 5%

 

The following is the set bonuses, most of the credit to Fuyuki for the proposed sets!

 

Spoiler Elemental Extended Set Bonus

Matk + 150
Adds a 5% chance of casting Level 5 Fire Ball on the target when performing a short-ranged attack, if a higher level of this skill is known, it will be cast instead.

Adds a 5% chance of casting Level 5 Thunder Storm on the target when performing a magical attack, if a higher level of this skill is known, it will be cast instead.
If Elemental Origin upgrade level is +10 or higher and Cactus Flower Corsage upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Increases the damage of Fire Ball and Thunder Storm by 100%.

Spoiler Vigilante Extended Set Bonus

Atk + 70
Increases long-ranged damage on targets by 20%.
Adds a 10% chance of casting Level 1 Double Strafe on the target when using Triangle Shot, if a higher level of this skill is known, it will be cast instead.
If Vigilante Bow upgrade level is +10 or higher and Black Cowboy Hat upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Increases the damage of Double Strafe and Triangle Shot by 50%.

Spoiler Mine Worker's Extended Set Bonus

Atk + 150

Crit + 20

Increases critical damage on targets by 20%.

If Mine Worker's Pickaxe upgrade level is +10 or higher and Black Cowboy Hat upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Enables Level 1 Frenzy.

Spoiler Monokage Extended Set Bonus

Atk + 50
Increases long-ranged damage on targets by 20%.
Adds a 5% chance of casting Level 1 Mirror Image on the user when receiving a physical attack, if a higher level of this skill is known, it will be cast instead.
If Monokage upgrade level is +10 or higher and Cactus Flower Corsage upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Reduces the cooldown of Kunai Explosion by 2 seconds.

Spoiler Huuma Shuriken of Dancing Petals Extended Set Bonus

Atk + 125

Increases long-ranged damage on targets by 20%.

Adds a 5% chance of casting Level 5 Pulse Strike on the attacker when receiving a physical attack.
If Huuma Shuriken of Dancing Petals upgrade level is +10 or higher and Cactus Flower Corsage upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Reduces the cooldown of Swirling Petal by 1 second.

Spoiler Hippie Guitar Extended Set Bonus

Atk + 70
Adds a 10% chance of casting Level 1 Melody Strike on the target when performing a physical attack, if a higher level of this skill is known, it will be cast instead.
Increases the damage of Melody Strike by 100%.
If Hippie Guitar upgrade level is +10 or higher and Black Cowboy Hat upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Enables Level 5 Maximum Power-Thrust.

Spoiler Hippie Rope Extended Set Bonus

Atk + 70
Adds a 10% chance of casting Level 1 Slinging Arrow on the target when performing a physical attack, if a higher level of this skill is known, it will be cast instead.
Increases the damage of Slinging Arrow by 100%.
If Hippie Rope upgrade level is +10 or higher and Cactus Flower Corsage upgrade level is +7 or higher,
Enables Level 5 Maximum Power-Thrust.

The reason why monokage get mirror image autocast is to give tankiness. Since most of kunai splash user and kunai explosion will use double dagger instead of shield. Plus using kunai splash will force you to tank the enemies. Giving mirror image autocast will enable you to last longer when tanking mobs.

Blessing and agi buff to huuma set is actually to provide more damage (swirling petal affectd by dex and agi, provided by both blessing and increase agi). Also to give mobility to maneuver through big mobs.
Pulse strike autocast is to help push mobs away from caster so the caster is not easily mobbed (but hey, we have cicada and illusion shadow already. Why not? More method to escape from the crowd).

Vigilante set DS autocast is solely to increase DPS vs 1:1 battle. If 10% chance is lame, make it to 20% is also fine.

As of mecha and performer set, it is solely to increase crit DPS to the fullest, since the original rockridge set for crit mech and performers are not good enough. Still low DPS compared to skill spammer.

Wow, i would love to test these new sets!

 

About the Mecha set, could it give some resistance? No shield, no garment slot, no armor slot makes mech too fragile (at least for me).

I added 20% 10% Neutral resistance.

 

And seeing as Fuyuki is talking about the sets, I will talk about the sorcerer one.

 

The aim of the elemental origin set is to use psychic wave as a catalyst to spread your bolts to various enemies.

kek, it's not meant to be OP, but to give some life to those lackluster rockridge sets.

 

Hopefully CM/Camp will see this next week and shed some light on if it could be done or not.

but why Kunai Explosion ?

 

reducing cast delay by 50% is a better bonus,

for Kunai Splash.
