I just tell myself, i'm just paying off my bad rng so my good rng will come soon... ingame. Which happens mostly.  :3

If you need to feel better, well as I already post, I've easily lost 20b on Bio5 enchantment (ended up with the same level of enchantment). I also just lost 2b because I accidentally deleted one character and I forgot to check. I realized again when I was checking my character list that I deleted a character that held 2b lol

I've seen a 25% roll pop up 20 times in a row. Needless to say, I don't trust this game's RNG.

Então, hoje eu tentei refinar um item de 4 a 7 usando certificados seguros.
A primeira tentativa chegou a +5, 60% de chance de sucesso, ótimo.
Mas então ele falhou 12x seguidas aqui, meu item agora está em +5 e eu não posso gastar mais zeny em certs porque eu tenho que economizar para outros itens ...
quero dizer, vamos ... 40% de chance de sucesso e falha 12 vezes?
Se você fizer as contas, você saberá que a chance de falhar 12 vezes é realmente muito baixa.
Btw se você não sabe como calcular é algo assim:
Você calcula quanto são as chances de um evento com falha acontecer em uma linha -> (0,6) ^ 12, que é cerca de 0,002 e que é 0,2%
Em outras palavras , Eu tinha 99,8% de chance de sucesso tentando 12x e consegui retirar os 0,2% de desgraça. Ugh, eu acho que as chances são chances depois de tudo ..
E o preço do certs é bs hoje em dia ...
Eu quero um prêmio de consolação, e só ter meu item em +6 não me deixará mais feliz.
Btw, o item foi um mero sobrevivente. sapatos, mas que me custou 800m, eu não estou jogando com enriquecido por algo nessa faixa de preço.
Oh Deus, talvez eu deva ir para a cama ...

RO is a very old game and its RNG isnt truly random, someone with hacker's knowledge can manipulate the RNG in his favor and get better results for refining and enchanting. It has been done before by some ppls, though I am not familiar with the technique so I cant provide an answer for this.

I think even they say x% success rate, that's only like a specific time, the rest of the time is super low rates lol.

If they really disclose how the algorithm works, everyone would rate quit because it just doesn't make sense sometimes.

When money talks, IDK, feels like iRO change the rate and we never known, but the way to +7 feels too painful, and no wonder the path to +9. I really believe iRO change something there. I am not alone, these posted sucess rates are wrong, they lower it im sure. wont surprise me after the low-income from the OCP Remix, the urge to sell WPE to players, lower the rate and make the enriched event, kinda weird but seems like that its happening, its a win-win for them.

 

And im talking coz refine a headgear takes me 86 enriched elus. Many of those tries were to +7 -> +6 - >+7 - >+6, then +5, +4, +3, +4, +5, +4, +5, +6, +7 and so

You just get a bad luck, so no need to feel down, just stop refining if you think you are suck at this moment, and try it later again

 

like me today trying to upgrade my +7HBP which i easily only spend 3 certificates from +4, and when try to upgrade on this enriched event, already spend 20 E.Elu and it still +7 ! even at +4 it fails at upgrade attempts, so i quit refining for now ..

People think that RNG is like throwing a dice. It's more like a few roullettes spinning at the same time, with different rotating speeds each, and when they stop, the numbers are taken as inputs for a mathematical operation. So, its numbers always cycle, but the cycles are long and irregular, so, it's not strange if there are times when people are more lucky and times when people are less lucky. But this might as well be sheer coincidence and some kind of percepcion bias.

I think the 95% rate for enriched ores from +4 to +5 only applies during enriched event, in mad bunny event and other events the chance is 90% instead. This is what I have inferred from iRO Wiki, not sure if the information is accurate though.

Also I ain’t sure if this 95% chance from 4-5(80% from 5-6 and 6-7) applies to enriched hammer only, or the other Suhnmi NPC that uses enriched ores. For me Suhnmi breaks more mad bunny shields than I expected, the rate seems lower than enriched hammer. The sample size is small though so it may not be used as direct evidence.

I did it during mad bunny event  . So it is 95%... 

 

Normal enrich would be just 90%. You are right. 

 

We did ask Camp whether the mad bunny rates applies to Suhnni or not back then cause thats the only guy who accepts enrich during Mad Bunny event. He said yes.

Because it's Warp Portal, because they're a company and they want money, because the less likely you are to succeed the more money they make as you continue to gamble out of frustration.

 

You ever go to a casino? Play a slot machine? You get all those little pay offs in between the failures, creates an illusion of success, makes you think you'll come out ahead, keeps you gambling longer, more likely to spend more money. Hence why you'll get +8 tons of times, but that +9, +10 those are rare cause the harder it is for you to get, the more money they get out of you. And if you do get that rare jackpot, who wins? You? No, they do. You just spent 100+ USD for an item that has no real value.

 

Feed yer kids, pay yer bills, buy healthcare, do something constructive with your money.
