Is it better to get an Atk+9% Nab Cloth because its much cheaper than the Abusive STR 4(Atk +14%) enchant? I'm not looking to buy an Abusive Robe for its def pierce, although that def pierce against bio 5 demons wouldn't hurt. My GX currently has an FS 6 Atk +3% Nab Cloth, based on my previous research I thought this would be the best combination but now that I've see GXs use an Abusive Robe for Bio 5 I'm also now looking to get one if that's the best option for Bio5.

 

Basically my question is should I stick with my FS 6 Atk+ 3% Nab Cloth or get an Atk+9% Nab's Cloth or get an Abusive Robe STR 2/2 Enchant?

For running instances stick to: 

-Nabs Cloth(FW/NTF/OGH)

-+9 Abyss Dress(OGH/NTF/Sky Fortess) if you have one already

-Fire or Evil Dragon Armor(FW/NTF/OGH/Central Lab/Sky Fortress)

they are much cheaper and do the job just fine.

 

For Bio5: then you will probably need to have the Abusive Robe

 

Other than that no point in OP gears beside dmg numbers looking nice

Cost wise just stick with a FS Nab as it gives Damage and Hit, or a 9% ATK Nab since you can have multiple.

 

Don't underestimate the STR 14 that Abusive Str2/2 gives on top of its 14% ATK.

 

Best for damage? Nope.

Best for cost to damage, probably.

 

And yeah what Xejso said, if you're looking at purely ATK %, FDA does it better for boss monster. Plus it gives a lot of HIT.

an abusive robe w dex enchants is good too for CRS since GX doesnt have that many ranged mods

​No it wouldn't.. its a MUST.

​Abusive isn't the only option though. +7 Enforcer Shoes, 90 LUK base points, and PDM gives you 95% DEF pierce.

Yea I didn't mention but I already have BSG and +7 Enforcer so that's 70% DEF pierce, Paying billions just to get that 30% more DEF pierce against bio 5 demons just doesn't seem worth it to me.

it's on the same slot/replaced bsg, plenty stat bonus & you can get 100% bypass def by this acc alone leaving armor/shoes slot free

I assume you'e talking about PDM, while it sounds good my other characters would not be able to make use of this that's why I didn't buy one. As for leaving armor/shoes slot free there's no need to free shoes slot because the Enforcer Shoes are the best to use as for armor that I'm not sure of yet.

For me, I tend to go for lower cost armor like Nab’s Cloth reason being I don’t have much funds and I get about 50% effect of a common +13 Abusive Robe. But if cheaper armor could still let you one shot everything in bio5 is another issue...
