I currently have a magician's glove and a perverse demon mask in my inventory. I can only wear one, so which do you think will yeild better damage? I have a +12 kvm staff so:

+12 kvm staff = 39% mdef bypass
Mask (90 str) = 75% mdef bypass
114% total mdef bypass (if only it was +13 T_T)

Or

12 kvm staff = 39% mdef bypass
M. Gloves = 50% mdef bypass
89% total mdef bypass

Magician's glove has an extra +5% fire, water, wind, earth spell damage and doesnt lock me to 90 str which could be used for vit and luk. Then a again, 90 str from the mask gives +15 int and 100% bypass.

Which would yield better damage in PvM, PvP, and WoE? Thanks

The new demon glove is far superior. I'm using it on all of my heroes atm and they all benefit from the reduce variable cast, cast delay, extra HP, huge boost in extra stats, def bypass of both normal and MVP. I don't notice any difference in terms of damage reduction when replacing it with other accessories. In fact my dmg increased when using it on some heroes. A wise choice for Warlock.

If you have La Cryma + Pororoca Combo / Survivor Set, magician's gloves is enough so that you can divert your stats to vit or agi.

 

Else, PDM is a wise choice if you plan on high str.

Sorcs will definitely benefit more from PDM, for WLs it will be kinda tricky.

As for me, i have already applied for gym membership 10 times already and feel like i still need to lift more, but im worried that it might take away too much from my spells since i wont have my gloves. Applying my strength to my magic and breaking magical defenses completely is great but i wonder if that can even out the effectiveness i can get purely focusing on spells. I participate in guild wars alot, so i wonder how good it would be against fellow adventurers, or the gloves are better in that situation?

Thx, i already went ahead and reset my stats and put on the PDM. I did notice that porings and other low mdef monsters take less damage. 20 mdef seems to be when it makes a difference as my RK test subject with 23 mdef was recieving slightly more damage.

Ok so i was strolling through the game, when i just did a random look at my +12 gsod and noticed a "+5% mdef bypass at +5 upgrade" apart from the destruction bonus. No idea why i never noticed this before but it means what i wrote above was a biit wrong. It should be:

 

+12 GSOD : 25% bypass

                       5% bypass at +5

                     14% bypass from destruction bonus

                  = 44% bypass

 

Which should mean i just need 72 Str for +60% bypass from PDM instead right? Also in Irowiki, it says GSOD gets 1%matk per refine, but the description is not written in the game, does this bonus exist or not?

I dunno if PDM is worth for WL becuase of all other items out there which gives MDEF ignore

Why ignoring 50% mdef when u can get more from mask and you can get extra stats from the mask?

I already tested this when i still had both. The gloves do more damage at lower mdef targets(94% bypass when i tested), but once the monster's mdef is 30 or more the mask does more damage even if you take into account the +5% element spell damage of the gloves. The mask's int bonus probably made up for the element damage boost.

Lower Vit or Agi. Personally I wouldn't use PDM unless there's a Vesper or KVM involved, or you want to drop some skill points from Frost Nova.

This is actually the main reason i run pdm now. I used to struggle carrying slims, blue pots, speeds, berserk pots, and a few hundred gemstones simultaneously. With pdm, i can now carry nearly double of my previous weight limit. The only real downside is that low mdef targets recieve less damage, but the difference is small and damage results reverse when monsters have 30 or more mdef.

I have warlock with 54 str, i think it should be enough for use pdm (or should go for 72 str later?)
Because survivor set and pororo set have bypass too well depend on situation i think >..<

P.s : oh ya, and no need gympass, still can carry few supplies
