as a royal guard I have trouble killing mvps that agi up. what are the tips to getting past this? does quagmire effect help if i got punk card? or maybe pheeroni garm? or should i do gungnir with mummy/AK Card? what would be the most effective to go with without taxing my dmg too much

if it's not a boss, garm card will do too.

there is a way to nullify their agi up immediately but i need to test it first.

i just checked my RG, she dont have that skill anymore and im lazy to reset .

maybe later in sakray if i have free time

 

but Paladin skill called Gospel ( Battle Chant )

used to work on Boss Protocol monsters

 

Negative effects apply to monsters, and opposing players in PvP enviroment. It does not effect players outside of the user's party in PvM enviroment:

• Inflicts between 1 and 9,999 of Neutral property fixed damage, which ignores the accuracy check and bypasses Kyrie Eleison.
• Causes the Curse status for an unusually lengthy period of time.
• Causes the Blind status for an unusually lengthy period of time.
• Causes the Poison status for an unusually lengthy period of time.
• Applies Level 10 Provoke.
• Drops all defense to 0.
• Drops attack to 0.
• Drops flee rate to 0.
• Reduces attack speed and movement speed by 75%.

 

aside from those 3, boss protocol not immune to the rest effect, this was in the past

you could make their attack so low, hitting you only 1

and cancels agi up.

i dont know about it now

hmm I always kinda wanted to put points in gospel but had no idea how id make that work while still having points for the importants skills

You wont be able to attack while in BC status. And BC debuff takes time. Like every 10 seconds interval

You dont MvP with RG. It is hard fighting Agi-up. But if you're after farming MvPs for loots, I suggest you play GX/Gen/Ranger or even WL

nah i think not every 10 seconds interval, the SP is

but the effect is around 1-2 secs

 

 

 

 

Agi Up comes with Lv and duration from 10 secs to 30 secs

you could say , after waiting 30 secs they will go back to normal state

but

some mvps can keep casting Agi Up as long as they can hit you / seeing you in the range.

last you can mvp with any classes you want, even TKM, SL and Super Novice.

the only thing that makes difference, the effectiveness

 

however it doesnt mean , you cant.

i haven't tried these 2 methods but they might work:

1) Gungnir with Mummy card and a shield with Ancient Mummy card. you get 45% perfect Hit.

2) A temporal Boots with Hawkeye enchant. I tried the proc rate with 193 aspd and it takes about 10 seconds average. someone told me having a higher upgrade temp boots has better proc but i have yet to test it. i have 95% crit btw.

Gospel buff’s interval is 10 seconds. You can however activate skill, receive one random buff, then deactivate skill. Then after 10 seconds, you activate the skill to get a random buff again. I think this method is rather futile.

Mummy combo is rather risky because you have to forgo AK and Alice card. You may now hit better but your damage will be low and you also loss 40% reduction against bosses. You will die fast.

No I don’t hate RG. I am stating the fact that fighting bosses with RG is hard and if you want to be efficient, do not use RG. I can say that it is more challenging to kill bosses with RG than other meta classes if this will sound more positive to you.

The best method to kill bosses is to hit them so hard that they die before using agi-up. The problem is RG damages trickle.

Not a single mention for good ol' Pinpoint Attack?   I mean it's not great because of the long cooldown, yeah... but assuming we're talking your standard VP-oriented build, having Spear Quicken active gives a decent amount of crit chance. I just auto atk at 191-193 aspd and smack with PPA every so often.

​It's sad that we don't have the same Matyr Reckon as bRO's as it is their perfect solution to this dilemma.

​I never bothered fighting Randgris though cause I hate dispel and Magic centric monsters LOL.

So you have to crit Alpho and Celia? O_o I remember I couldn't hit him with Hundred lol
