When will the purchases be refunded any ETA on that?

I just want to say thank you to Campitor and the rest of the team for the quick response and also for compensating us as well. This was not something that anyone could have foreseen, and therefore any compensation is merely from the kindness of your hearts. With your amount of dedication to the game and the players, it makes RO worth playing still; which is saying something, as I usually quit things when they frustrate me. I know that there are some players that lost a great deal more than I did, but I know that there are many game teams out there that wouldn't have cared about their players loses, nor would they have compensated them in any way. So again, thank you all for how you handled this issue, and keep doing an amazing job.

Scheduled Maintenance Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm PST

Log in always goes down 10 to 15 minutes before maintenance begins.

Please note that some issues cannot be prevented from a technical point of view and this is without being specific to WP or this incident.

We also agree that everyone's time and effort was wasted, though, in my opinion the compensation is fairly generous:

  • You get 4 days of VIP that you can choose to avail to the game ID(s). This is a big bonus.
  • Returned purchases in form of KP.
  • Server EXP/DROP boost.

At this point you are free to choose how to utilize this compensation to your advantage.

Agreed. So how do we get access to this free 4 days of VIP?

I am not 100% certain of the method of it being added yet, but it will likely be the same as previous free 4 day events where it will be able to be claimed in the Power-Up page as a 0 WPE VIP purchase, available once per account.

i'm really curious why ppl think it isn't enough of a compensation...

 

so, basically we lost 9 hours of play time... so they are giving us about 95 hours of dbl xp/drop as comp... and it isn't enough?

 

No way guarantees that you'd get what you did previously even if odds are now boosted.

 

Thank goodness I didn't get anything above 1B and have no screenie.

Well now , I still don't want to try risk myself to add more WPE / KP purchase   or even buying expensive zeny items    till I get my lost KP back    

I have a different time zone   I can't calculate  (UTC + 07:00)

 

maybe I should wait one more day :<

Os dados de caractere foram revertidos para 20:56 PST 4/18/2018.

Quaisquer compras Kafra feitas entre 20h56 e PST e agora serão devolvidas como Pontos Kafra.
Nós estaremos entregando um evento VIP de 4 dias no fim de semana.

Após a manutenção semanal, o Caos receberá 100% de EXP / Drops até as 11h de 23/04.


 

 

I made a transaction close at 10:45 PM PST. I received 999,999,999 zenys, but so far they have not returned. This money was from the sale of items I bought with kafra points on 04/14/2018. You mean I just lost all the money? If someone from the IRO can look at my account and see the transactions can verify the truth of the facts. I want reimbursement! I already sent 4 tickets and so far I have not received an answer.

As a closure statement:

  • Server should be up and running fine by now.
  • There are NO announced plans to return refines, items, and zeny found during the technical issue of the server. The GM staff will most likely decline restore requests of the same even if screenshots or videos are provided.
  • Due to the technical issue, the staff have a compensation plan and it is as the following:
    • Kafra purchases made during that time will be returned in form of Kafra Points.
    • In-game EXP/DROP boost.
    • 4 Days of VIP for free. To claim the time: For Warpportal registered accounts, please log on your WP account, choose your desired iRO ID, click on VIP packages, the 4 Day VIP will appear, proceed accordingly to avail the time. You may avail the time once for an ID.
    • For Stream registered accounts, the 4 days will be inserted automatically.
