If I remember correctly, ASPD stops mattering to RC at 190 and then you're looking for After Cast Delay reductions. So, no, 185 wouldn't be enough.

if you have skill delay reductions 30% and up, 193 is ideal. 50% skill delay reduction at 193 aspd do 7 RCs per second.

the problem is, it might be better to use cross ripper as that skill is stupidly buffed.

Are you leveling or trying to optimize for end game content? For leveling or doing daily instances likes OGH or Sky Fortress, you're fine.

 

Akupuff is right in that 190 is the limit of how many attacks per second you can get off with RC at base cast-delay, but that assumes 0 latency. I think I recall that Ashuckel tested latency on our server and found it to be pretty rough and so unlikely to allow for full ASPD utilization when it comes to skills (auto-attack is different). 

 

If you have even 65ms latency (which tbh I think is charitable given our server's performance) you'd be able to only get ~4 attacks per second in, meaning an ASPD of 187~188 should be fine. You'd still have lag, but you could divert some of the ASPD gear to more damage gear so you get more bang-for-buck out of whatever attacks you do get in. 

 

Though we are getting so much ASPD stuff now that 190 is probably very easily doable without sacrificing any real damage.

185 is enough. 190 is better. 190 is easy to achieve if you got the z. I can reach 187 with eden gears alone.

With my ping I honestly don't see a difference between 188 - 193 aspd. For me 188 ASPD is my cap with 0% After Cast Delay.

Nah, but Katars have an amazing base ASPD.

 

Can use Guarana candy for a bit of extra AGI, and if things get super desperate you can 'drink' a poison bottle by double clicking it (very short time, not actually worth for the most part). 

 

Can supplement with shadow gears (rapid pendant, physical earring, garment) and can also get a bakonawa tattoo or keraunos (will also let you cast agi up). You can also get a feather of protection for mid gear instead of the BDM. 

 

Finally, if you're not going to use meteor assault anymore, can switch to temporal STR boots with an attack-speed enchant.

IMO, don’t go too much into ASPD, you need damage output and other gears to survive too.

Like in FWQ Intances, I replaced my top and mid headgears to Engkanto Carded gears to maximise damage. Because my top and mid headgears won’t boost that much (60%) damage and I have no problem to survive the Queen.

And, my gears are almost as yours, you will be doing good at FWQ, OGH and HTF at 175. Not sure about Sky Fortress, I have not tried but if you know the way to dodge Wolf’s earthquake or bring tons of token, it just takes Yu longer time to finish it off.

Maybe it’s better to rely on weapon like +15 Crimsn Katar to boost DPS instead of ASPD, just IMO.

Faster speed mean faster spin = more damage per second, u will feel the difference when your ping low and using auto for RC .. try google about this topic, there is already many good explanation
