I'm curious about a Auto Shadow Spell Water ball Build.

 

I've been watching this guy's Videos for a while now.

Are Pororoca Shoes a Viable Item for Auto Shadow Spell Water Ball SC?

 

I've been wondering if the Water Ball build made sense with these Shoes. Instead of +9 Temp Agi Boots Runaway Magic Attack Delay 4.

 

Maybe too much of a sacrifice, since Auto Spell SC needs more ASPD than anything else?

 

If anyone has any ideas, please leave reply.

 

Ideas that are simple would be appreciate it.

Not viable for PvM, you need to have a slave Sorc/Ninja for you to be able to Auto-Spell continuously.

 

If you really want to do damage with WB, copy level 10 from Drake and get a Ninja to cast Lvl 10 Watery Evasion instead.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, Water Ball level 10 is 5x5 and not 9x9 when used by players, right? Just wondering because your post specifically says Water Evasion level 10, which could be a lower level if that is the case.

If I recall correctly(tried it in pRO way back), the number of Spheres/Balls summoned depends on the amount of water available but based on an old post from ashuckle it requires 100 water cells(I don't think that's true).

Yeah I understand that's just a plus. I was really thinking about Lv5 Deluge, and how you won't need a slave.

If you have the patience of re-casting deluge every time WB activates then go for it.

 

Don't forget that deluge boost water magic attack to 20% so it benefits from other skills like Storm Gust(much better than auto-casting WB)

Not sure if anyone thought of this but I am currently f***cking around with an Auto-Spell Crit build and was thinking of possible ways to maximize the use Pororoca Shoes for SCs. First skill that comes into mind for most of us is Water ball, but I think it's potential lies with Cold Bolt Instead especially if you're using a +10 Lunar Rainbow:

 

Magical Ring - +35%(70% if 2 rings stacks) Cold Bolt Damage and +10% Water Magic Damage

Siroma Card  x2 -  +50% Cold Bolt Damage

Pororca Shoes - +10%(if +7) Water Magic Damage

Deluge -  +20% Water Damage

Lichtern Blue Card - +10 MATK/10% Water Magic Damage(if +9)

 

I'm not good in computing damage(just lazy as ) but I imagine hitting someone Frenzied(or blood lusted) with auto bolts would melt them fast. If  your SC has Vulture's Eye(you should have) you can equip a +xx Composite Bow[4] to work with the +10 Lunar Rainbow, kinda like a long range auto spell.

Let's say you card the Valk Knife with 4 Laurell Weinder Cards, will it quadruple the chance of casting lvl 10 Cold Bolt? Let's say it does, then this opens up a lot of possibilities for Auto-Spell SC's when it comes to MvP hunting, you can allot 4 valk knives for each element then hunt MvPs with opposing weak elements, let's not forget that this can be used with a bow....then autospell LoV for hit locking.

Tried it in Sakray w/ the following equip:

 

Cold Bolt lvl 10

 

+10 Lunar Rainbow of Water

+12 Quad Undine Valk Knife(Carding it with the same card 4 times doesn't seem to increase it's proc chance, so it's much better to use all 4 cards for over all DPS)

Black Devil Mask

+9 Intellectual FAW Sp19

+7 Pororoca Shoes

2x Magical Ring of Yana

+Deluge effect

 

No other buffs aside from Berserk Pots, Drosera Stew and Celemerine. So if luck is with you, you could be auto-casting lvl 10 Cold Bolt for 42k+damage simultaneously (I only have 188 atskdp on this test). And you still have the damage that comes from your Shadow Spelle'd skill+ Dupe Light.

 

 

Also tried Water Ball with same equip and it did 96488 damage. As you can see my equip are trash because I'm too lazy to gather all equipment needed(or cause I can''t find them in Sakray). i feel like it could do more damage if you have Runaway Magic activated(swicth to Temp Boots after casting Deluge) and a Siroma carded Magician glove(Magical Ring is stronger),

Which Temp Boots exactly?, and can I get the full list of the gear Setup you plan on using for this?

 

Also, I see you setup your stats with 120 AGI/LUK. Does that stat-setup work for the typical ASSC?, if they Plan on MVP.

With regards to your build, if you can reach 193 atkspd with that agi + other items then its fine. I switched my build from 120 Agi/luk to 120 Agi/Int with the other stat points in Dex for Mobscarf combo and becauseI plan to PvP with i in the future(Deluge also boosts Diamond Dust damage.)

Well, Like what I've stated I dropped the 120 agi/luk build and went for more dex instead for PvP purposes. But I am thinking of taking on Stefan Wolf in the future and focus my gear on increasing  Fire Magic (Imp card, Salamander card etc.)

So I went ahead and copied lvl 10 WB from Hard Rock Mammoth and tested WB lvl 5,9 and 10 using Lvl 5 Deluge and I am quite happy with what I discovered:

 

WB LvL 10 is confirmed working however the information in iRO Wikli where it stated that lvl 10 WB does 100 hits is false, but instead it deals the same amount of hits as lvl 5(25 hits) but with increased damage.

 

Level 5 WB on Fire Eggs:

This line in the iRO Wiki article on Water Ball is significant:

 

The number of water balls that can be launched depends on the amount of water the caster is standing in. Using higher levels of this skill without enough water will not produce the maximum number of hits.

 

Level 10 is stated to require a 9x9 area.

 

Since Deluge is 7x7 I guess the only way to get all the hits would be to stand in a natural watery area of large enough dimensions.

Sorry i forgot to include that I also tried it in the watery area inside scaraba hall 2 and it did a maximum of 25 hits at lvl 10 instead of a 100, I guess it'd be too OP if it did a hundred. 

 

Oh and Lvl 10 WB damage can be further boosted by Mystic Amp from the thieves guide.
