72 base LUK.
it plays an important role..
50% magic dodge, DEF bypass, crit rate and crit damage.
I have 102 crit rate. Thank goodness Celia & Alpho don't have any crit resistance.

Gelerdria is amazing. Very underrated spear.
Fun Fact: The Imperial Spear set and Gelerdria Set are almost equal in VP damage when Monster is either Insect, Water or Wind element.
But in Cannon Spear, Gelerdria pulls ahead. 300K vs 450k. Plus my gelerdria is just +9.
+14 Imperial Spear EA8. AK.
+9 Gelerdria 2AKs, 1 Skel Worker.
12 Glorious Spear
+11 Abusive Robe STR 2 2. Angeling.
+9 FAW EA10 Menblatt
+9 STR Boots EA4 Lucky Day.
Imperial Ring Gold Scaraba
Storm Stone
Perverse Demon Mask
+12 Old Casket Acute 3 Engkanto

My Gelerdria used to have 3AKs in it.
I tested on egg and there was no damage increase when I put the 3rd AK card on it.
I removed the 3rd AK card and put a Skel Worker, went to Bio5 and my damage increased.
I think you shouldn't go past 100% damage increase to any Race. there's probably a cap. (50% from 2AKs, 50% from Storm Stone).
I think the KVM spear is not needed as I only use it on Randel to get a nice Overbrand damage.
Gelerdria with Cursed water should do a similar damage.

this was my PvP build actually.
Although stats-wise, it's not as I always put enough INT for Oblivion curse immunity.
Guard, Reflect Shield at max levels for Sura.
King's Grace for Dark Claw.
Pinpoint+Exceed Break combo for GX. (a new combo that sucked then, really good now).
Trample & VP for Summoner.
Prestige for WL.
It's my first time giving up Shield Spell though.
That RG shield plus the switch, which I hated before, now saved me a lot of precious skill points.
( I hated it cause it gave a free 150atk buff to OP classes like Sura & Summoner).

why rather not use storm stone and imp ring together with gelerdria?
unlike mdef, hard def is giving diminishing returns when it is high enough,
plus the fact that you wear +11ARobe as default armor there

because those momo have too high defense... more offensive power means nothing compare to ignore defense
edit: at 72 luk you get 60% ignore defense with pdm and i guess 40% with +11 abusive... do the math for me

don't forget P.Demon Mask's stats bonuses. it's insane and IMBA.

Crimson Spear with Temporal Ring & Demon Mask should be ok.
awesomegeek can i see your full skill build regarding this build?
In the video, I displayed my full skill tree. You just have to pause there.
Main reason for this build is to have as many RG skills as possible so you could PVP and farm bio5.
Inspiration requires an expensive skill tree so it is avoided.
Keep in mind though that that the true power of this build relies on 2 things:
1). Fast Vanishing Point delay, which in this case, 5 hits per second.
(Interestingly, in Faceworm map, I do a bit faster. For some unknown reason, I seem to do 6-7 hits per second there.)
2). Enough INT & LUK to get 50% magic dodge at minimum. 80% magic dodge when Lucky Day procs. Also DEF pierce and CRIT rate and damage.
- I can imagine the new accessory with 40% Perfect Hit (2pcs) being better than using Pinpoint and normal CRIT attacks during cooldown though. That's something you'd have to choose.
- To do 5 hits per second VP though, you need the right AHK script and a Bathory transformation sprite. In the video, I look like a normal sprite, but that's because RO's recorder shows me as such when I transform BEFORE I start recording. If I transform DURING recording, then I will show up as Bathory sprite.

On the Part 1 version, pause at 0:51 I displayed there my skill tree both for RG and Paladin.
Btw, what do you think if imperial feather is in, what will be the damage compared to gelerdria? Referring to imperial combo vs gelerdria set.
I have no idea to be honest. Gelerdria is the best weapon for the water & wind property monsters in bio5 regardless.
(Cannon Spear damage is almost twice as much as Imperial Set. 270k+ vs 430k+). Tengu Set is fine.
You could use the accessory that gives 20% perfect hit. two of those should give 40% PH. I have not tested it in actual but I have a feeling this will replace using Pinpoint & normal CRIT attacks for AGING up monsters.

it seems so yes.
My 3 AK Gelerdria (125% Boss mod) literally did the same damage as my 2 AK Gelerdria (100% boss mod).
And my 2 AK & 1 Skel Worker Gelerdria did more damage on Medium Size monster.
